So it's some kind of post apocalyptic rehabilitation program where felons are reborn as robots?
I want to play this game.
Why aren't anyone making games like this?

Unfortunately I think this is all we'll see of it.Very creepy, strange and awesome. I want to know what happens next. I'd hate it if this ever be all we see of this.
To busy chasing VR and mainstream success to be bothered.
EDIT: Dennis is doing that thing again. That can only mean one thing, love.
IMO all convicted rapists, child molesters and felony sex offenders should have the option of either:
A. Serving their sentence in prison.
B. Having their conscience transferred to a robot made by Packard Bell, designed by the people who made Heartbeeps, running on a heavily modified creation engine, powered by dualshock4 controller batteries and with insurance provided by digital river.
I hope they'll make it playable without VR. As much as I love my Vive I'd love to see this world fully realized without the graphical restrictions that come with running a game in VR.Being reborn in a robot body in vr would be so meta though. Someone needs to do it.
Doesn't actually sound like punishment though :/
Well, except for the creation engine bit.
But who was robot?
What is the point of making these incredible tech demos when none of them are turned into actual games and the games that use the engine never look as good as them?
They pretty much have creative freedom when doing these tech demos. Pitching this as a whole game is a completely different animal. What is it with tech demos and their ability to persuade me to want to play a game based on their premise.
That's totally the vibe I got from the film.irobot
Speaking of tech demos and robots and stuff, I remember an old, old tech demo during the ps3/360 days. I think it was a ps3 tech demo, main features were 1080p, 60fps and CG quality visuals. Had a guy fighting robots. Anyone remember that? I can't seem to find it, but I remember it looking amazing and still better than what we actually got with actual games from that generation.
Motion blur felt too strong to me. The typical motion blur in an animated film feels a bit more natural. Besides that, beautiful and intriguing film.

Sounds like you're talking about Wardevil. As I recall, that game was vaporware and basically a scam.
We need to get this to gamersyde. The compressed screenshots are a bummer.
I believe they're planning to put it out as a benchmark if Twitter is to be believed.Better yet, just get them to release the film as an exe.
This is Unity engine?
Where is the uneven frame pacing and stuttering?
