University of Missouri enrollment drop of 1.5K after protests

Doubly painful because Mizzou has been reliant on increased enrollment to make up for decreased funding from the state government. I think the numbers are something like 5.5k freshman classes to 7.5k over 5 years. (how do you do that? Magic! Or by loosening admission standards...)

Doesn't seem like they're in a good place right now.

Or you do what UMich has been doing for years, and what MSU is now starting to do, and recruit rich kids from out-of-state to attend who can pay full price.

That's one of the biggest groups MU is losing. The out of state rich kids have chosen to spend their money elsewhere.
