Howland doesn't exist. I yelled out loud "That's not true you fucker!!!!" When Bran said that he's the only one who knows Jon's parentage lol

I am sorry I did not meet your criteria for a Theory, let me expand on it:
- We are shown that Bran has seen the origin of the NK
- We are shown that Bran can warg into people in the past / in his visions
- We are shown that the NK seems to have some connection to Bran / know of his presence even in visions and when he is warged
- It is suggested the NK has some foresight (dragon killing spears and chains to hand when a dragon shows up)
- We are told that there is another "holy shit" moment to come, and I feel that might just qualify
Edit: on the first two / three, the show has very little fat / time to play with, we have to assume if we are shown anything it has a purpose. We still don't know why we saw that flashback with the CoTF / NK as their origin hasn't mattered much so far.
I'm not sure he does exist at this point. On one hand, kicking Merra out could've been a reason to pull in Howland next season, on the other hand, it could've been a cheap way to push Bran's 'dead inside' status. I do think he's significant to Bran, and he'll clearly be important in the book, but that might not translate in the show.
I do think Bran will need to find the motivation to help his family, but Howland might not be the key for his arc.
This is the last one of these I swear.
If they really have 100,000 wights then it's going to take a lot of guerrilla tactics. I'm mostly assuming since they made a big point about all the wights dying when the lich king dies, that he'll dramatically be assassinated and the 100,000 wights all die at the same time.
Really? I think he's going to ride/control a dragon before the show is done.I think Jon's lineage is going to have a small impact on the story.

He already did in the finale
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Littlefinger was so hard done by in this show by the end. He's arguably the main human villain in the books, given he caused the events of the whole series so far and is still plotting, but for the show he's been an irrelevant side character for the past three seasons and went out like a chump in a minor subplot with baffling storytelling.
It's clear the writers had no clue how to handle his presence after book material ran out.
I still don't really get Littlefinger's objective in the books.
Varys and Tyrion kind of step on each other's toes with the absence of the Blackfyre plot. Plus the speed up of the narrative has reduced the opportunity for Tyrion to contribute.

Well his current plan is actually pretty straight forward. He is currently Lord Protector of the Vale until Robyn comes of age. He wants to marry Sansa to Harrold Hardyng (Harry the Heir) who would become Lord of the Vale if something were to happen to poor little sickly Robyn. Then he would go to Winterfell with Sansa as Lady of the Vale and Harrold as Lord. As the husband of the last living Stark that anyone knows, that would make Harrold both Lord of the North and the Vale. Then he kills off Harrold, marries Sansa, and bam, Lord Littlefinger is now in control of the North and the Vale. He would then call his banners and march on Kings Landing. Or I dunno, maybe he just wants to bang Sansa and doesn't care about any of that!
I just got emailed this by one of the services I subscribe to at work, it's fairly spectacular:

By having the courage of Daenerys when it comes to chasing late payments, you could reduce the amount of bad debt you write off. Now we are not saying to attack your late payers with fire breathing dragons (if you had any), instead use the tools you have to show that late payments are unacceptable. Debt chasing letters and debt recovery are simple steps to get you going on collecting late payments from your customers.
Production on the fantasy drama's eighth season is slated to begin in October and run as late as August 2018, sources say. That could push the return of the abbreviated six-episode final run into 2019 with a more than 16-month gap between seasons. (HBO would neither confirm nor deny the rumors.)
"Our production people are trying to figure out a timeline for the shoot and how much time the special effects take," HBO programming president Casey Bloys tells The Hollywood Reporter. "The shooting is complicated enough on different continents, with all the technical aspects and the special effects are a whole other production period that we're trying to figure out. That is a big factor in all of this."
Of course there are disadvantages like increased marketing budget needs that come with such delays between seasons, but insiders note that the wait is typically worth it.
"As shows get bigger and more complicated, I have to follow the producers' lead and let go of, 'It'd be nice to have it every year,'" Bloys says. (Westworld, it's worth noting, scored a leading 22 Emmy nominations, a big payoff for the extra time.) "They have to do the best show they can do. With bigger shows like Westworld or Game of Thrones, sometimes if you want the big show and the big scope, it takes longer."
It looked like they could get it done by Fall 2018 if they had a typical schedule and started shooting in October, but these rumors make it sound like they're going to take a bit longer.I thought 2019 had been all but confirmed?

It's what I expected any way so it won't bother me if it's true.I thought 2019 had been all but confirmed?
That is some Crusader Kings level of transferring titles to yourself.Well his current plan is actually pretty straight forward. He is currently Lord Protector of the Vale until Robyn comes of age. DAT AZZ-OR AHAI
I keep wondering if the whole "Winterfell/A Stark must always be in Winterfell" means anything, like if there's something there "magical" in that location.
so, now that it's done
does anyone think there was anything in this season that will happen more or less the same way in the books? that rhaegar and lyanna were married perhaps? I can't really think of anything.
2Bigger misstep for Tyrion:
1) Partnering with slavers
2) Trusting Cercei
I thought that too, but it appears to be nothing, since all the Starks left after Clash of Kings/Season 2.
Whether or not they'll be back in the books, we might eventually know, but they are back in the show. That line was said at least once that I can remember, but it's season 1 stuff.
Bigger misstep for Tyrion:
1) Partnering with slavers
2) Trusting Cercei
3) Forgetting that he charged through the mud gate only in the books...
If you imagine that a year in Westeros is longer but people age at biologically the same rate things become a bit easier to handle. Of course, that would make Maester Aemon old as fuck.Sansa is 11 at the start of the books too, what a swell guy
3) Forgetting that he charged through the mud gate only in the books...
So Dany= Nissa Nissa is pretty much confirmed?
Honestly, I can't wait to see the internet implode when she dies.

Wait, was this mentioned in this last episode, but he didn't actually do it in season 2?
Odds on Jon Snuh using Rhaegal to get the drop on the Night King in mid-air?
Yeah she is living on borrowed timeSo Dany= Nissa Nissa is pretty much confirmed?
I doubt it.Well, if the Night King is a greenseer, no one will ever get the drop on him. Except maybe Bran.
