the real time camera manipulation would lead me to believe the engine was running in real time at the Sony PC...the demonstration having a total of 2 months to be brought over to PS3 is the bit I find the most interesting, however
The U3 Demo was freaking amazing. Also, if the guy on B3D is to be believed, the majority of Heavenly Sword is real time or uses the game engine. Add in Warhawk and the I-8 game looks real time as well. Good enough for me...
I think when the Japanese lineup is solidified I may be more interested in 360. I'm really looking forward to Blue Dragon, and possibly 99 Knights.
looks pretty good for realtime. Good framerate too.
Supposedly this demo is not even using the Cell. I dont know how people can doubt that Killzone will be possible on final hw. It's not THAT big of a leap.

IIRC, that's simply running of two Geforce 6800 ULTRAs in SLI mode (The guy at Epic said so) - which is fair as the RSX should be a somewhat more feature-rich extension of that architecture. That isn't surprising considering that is probalby what Epic developed the game engine on for a baseline anyway. So yeah, I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was in realtime. Notice how the entire demo is scripted - no AI or anything that would traditionally run off the CPU. I don't think they even touched CELL to get that running. Will be interesting to see what else they can do with the two chips running in tandem.
