tetsuoxb said:As someone who talked about the US version of Lumines with Miz....I think the following:
1) Licensing issues will be worked out. Mondo Grosso and Eri Nobuchika are BOTH signed to Sony Music. That being said, Lights may be rerecorded. I might send some emails out tonight and see if I can get to the bottom of any musical changes. No promises.
2) I DOUBT it will be 50 dollars. There is no minimum price on PSP games, and third parties are free to sell their games for whatever price they like as long as they pay sony their fees. However, even if it is $50, you should by the game and enjoy it. BUY THE US VERSION! I am buying it again just because I believe in the game and I want Miz to be able to keep making experimental games like Lumines.
3) Mizuguchi is very very focused on his games, and I HIGHLY DOUBT he would let Ubisoft screw the game up. If there are changes, I would bet that Mizuguchi is directing them starting right about now. They had about 2 weeks left on Meteos back on 1/15 before the delay, so they should be finishing now. That gives them about 4-5 weeks to make any changes to Lumines if they haven't started already.

Holy crap.

You like the work of Minakuchi supervision. . . The っ て you say it is not. So, name of your Minakuchi supervision making a mistake, because the groove guti っ て you said. . . Regrettable? ? ? ! . . . . Hara-kiri

That is a play off of a comedian in Japan right now called the Guitar Samurai, and his catch phrase is screaming ZANNEN at the top of his lungs.
Machine translation doesn't do that sentence any justice.
You like the work of Mizuguchi (director).... or so you say. But, You (rough) mistook Mizuguchi's name and said Mizoguchi instead, so ZANNNNNENNNNNNNNNNN. Kill yourself.

How do you say that? Seppuku or Hara-Kiri? I thought the correct one was seppuku and I don´t know where I heard that Hara-Kiri was wrong and even unrespectful (I´m not sure of that, that is why I ask, would like to know)
Jonnyram said:I'm pretty sure there'll be licensing issues with using the music from Mondo Grosso and Eri Nobuchika in the US, so they may end up changing those skins, but everything else (produced internally) should be a-ok. Besides, "Lights" is in Japanese - there's no way that's gonna fly.
The End said:babelfish would beg to differ on that point.

I dunno, I sort of doubt *every* game besides the AI games have broken 50k. Even established IPs like Vampire Chronicle and Puyo Puyo Fever didn't break 10k 1st week... granted launch period PSP games will likely have more shelf life than something on PS2, but I really doubt that only the AI series are under 50k. Hell Lumines is only 40k and it was getting a good amount of attention.duckroll said:Well 40k might be accurate. One of the most popular? Not by a longshot.
As of this week:
Minna no Golf: 227k
Dynasty Warriors: 207k
Ridge Racers: 216k
Piposaru Academy: 76k
Combat Mahjong: 55k
Fafner: 17k
Rengoku: 16k
Metal Gear Ac!d has most likely broken 80k by now, and I'm pretty sure just about every other game has probably sold 50k with the exception of the two budget AI titles. Fafner and Rengoku are VERY crappy games that came out last week, the fact that they've already sold about 17k each means that they'll most likely end up with 50k at the very least, since they're still on the charts and Lumines has vanished off even the top 30 charts every week ever since release (where it did like 7k on launch day). Welcome to the sad reality of Lumines.![]()
