Please take FMA out of your list.
I played through FMA1+2 a while ago but the games were so blah I didn't feel like writing anything up for them. But I don't want people to waste money so I'll say this.
FMA game#1 is the probably the worst game ever released by a big publisher. The game is basically one of those $5-$10 shovelware games except it has the FMA license. Gameplay is complete crap, almost no voice acting but tons of text boxes, all the FMVs are really short and encoded badly, terrible story, and just an overall a godawful game. If you're a huge FMA fan who needs to have everything FMA it's a 6/10...otherwise a 4/10.
FMA game#2 is a pretty decent anime-based game. The gameplay has a lot more variety than the first one and the level design is SOOOO much better. The graphics are actually good in this game, there's full voice acting and the anime cutscenes are DVD quality and long. Story is also alright for a filler. Basically if you're a fan of the series this is a strong 8/10, whereas if you've never heard of FMA it's a 7/10.
Seriously if I was SE USA I would've skipped FMA1 for localization and just gone with FMA2. I know FMA1 will sell because of the license, but having to associate the PoS quality of the game with the company is a bad thing I think. I full expect to see a ton of <5/10 review scores from all the press magazines.
Basically for all things sacred, please do not buy this game forum readers.
btw, when does this come out in the US. I need to make an official DO NOT BUY THIS GAME thread at least a week before that or else people will hurt themselves.
