(US) PSN just sent me $10 US PSN credit in my inbox

No. If there's one thing for sure, you need a PS3 to get the confirmation message. Others have said that they've checked their Vita and didn't get any message but when they check their PS3, the message is there.

I don't have a PS3 though..I guess I need my Vita to check my wallet balance then.

It's a code that needs to be redeemed, it wouldn't automatically be added to your wallet balance anyway.

i could really use the $10 to buy either Trials or rocketbirds for my vita... just checked my Vita group messaging and nothing in my inbox from Sony

bought so many PSN games on my vita i would have thought i would have qualified... but oh well, im not entitled to anything free

Check ur PS3 inbox. I checked on my Vita first since I wasn't home and got nothing, but when I checked my PS3 I had it.

saw this thread and was like "aw yeah thanks for the free money sony!"

then checked inbox and was like ;_;

I'm a PS+ subscriber and I've spent plenty of cash on downloadable games too, a little over $60 so far this year actually. Maybe I'll get one later!

And I seriously doubt every PS3 user is going to get this. I don't know how many PS3's are out there, but I'm sure its millions. $10 a pop, that's a lot of money.

Got it here in Canada, not sure what I'll buy but now I have $20 in my account.
Bought lots of stuff on the store and been active since launch. Had Plus for over a year, not anymore.

You're not going to get the $10 unless you have a PS3. The message is a link to the store. It isn't a balance increase unless you initialize the link to the store to input the code Sony gives you automatically.

Nothing in my rarely used US account :( But I found 50€ in my actual real-life wallet I shouldn't have or rather I don't know where these came from o.o

So, is this for the American customers only? I hope not, as it would be great having that 10€ for the upcoming ME3 Citadel DLC.

I checked my US account, and nothing there either. Although I've never bought anything with that account, whereas I've bought about 40 PSN games with the EU account since WipEout HD's release in September 2008, and subscribed to PS+ for about 1½ years (EDIT: and paid for subscription until September 2013). I think the customers should be rewarded due to their support (=spending), instead of their geographical location. =/

Oh, I was thinking about Planewalkers so I can talk to my friend in Japan. This is perfect if I get one!

I checked and got one too, was actually about to come on here and ask if it was legit. Corporations have made me that jaded.

Sony has been pretty legit for the past couple of months.

Got my free 10 bucks guys! So happy, i wish everyone would get a code specially those who have been longtime customers. I've had my PS3 less than 6 months so i didn't think i would get a code, i have bought lots of stuff tough. US account.

Well, I've been a long tiem customer and have spent hundreds of dollars on PS3 games off PSN and hundreds of dollars on VITA games on PSN... This is BS selection...

Oh well, I'll just go back to playing P4G now while busy at work...

I really do wonder what the criteria was for sending the $10. It seems like the vast majority of users did receive a $10 or $5 code, with only a small amount of people (myself included) not receiving a code.

It is just weird that there seems not to be a method to the madness.

Nothing.

Had a PS3 and Vita for a few months, PS+ subscriber and spent money on PSN in the last 2-3 months -- didn't get anything.

Eh, I'd just be spending it on grabbing the Nobunaga's Ambition PS2 classic anyway.

Got my $10 last night. Not sure what I want to get with it though. I got Hotline Miami on Steam last week for free so no need to get it again.

had a ps3 for 2-3 years, a psp when it launched, a vita when it launched, bought stuff from both stores and nothing... and bought ps+ at one point.. nothing still. Hopefully i'm wrong soon.
