(US) PSN just sent me $10 US PSN credit in my inbox

Zilch on my end. I've owned a PS3 for approximately a year, bought ~10 games off the digital store and have been a PS+ subscriber for a few months now.
 
Oh yeah got $10.

- i was a plus member in 2011 for 3 months. Didn't subscribe after that.
- i had an account since Jan 2009

Ive supported Sony for all these years and they CANT even GIVE me 10.00 as thanks? Way to go, Kaz. Because of this, Im skipping out on the PS4. Im not even going to watch your stupid, shitty conference tonight unless YOU GIVE me my 10 dollars!

I'm not surprised I didn't get one. Even though I have a PS3, PSVita, and just bought $50 worth of stuff 2 months ago, I haven't actually been on my PS3 in like 2 weeks and my Vita in 1 month. Ever since I got my PC I've been neglecting my PS3 lately, even my friends said it's weird that I'm not on 24/7 anymore.

Though my activity on the PS3 may change once Tales of Xillia is released and FFX is released on Vita.
 
Are people still getting this, or did they send all of them out in a batch? Nothing yet... :( (though EU is my main account)

If I had to guess, I'd say it's probably related to how much money you've spent on PSN in the last couple of months.

I think there is a fair chance you'll get it later as they are not sending it to everyone at the same time. I got my $5 several days ago, before anyone else got anything. Maybe it just means that some other people will get it later.
 
Official Statement from Sony:

"Oops, our bad! We encountered a slight accounting error and the $10 you may have received isn't really yours so we're deducting $10 from your account balance."

A clever ploy to raise some sales maybe? :p

That's very cool that they are doing this and I'll have to check my inbox when I get home, but strange to not know what the criteria is.
 
Spent it on Metal Gear Solid PSOne classic.

My MGS series replay is long overdue. Now just to wait for Amazon to get the PS3 MGS HD collection back in stock.

Heh.. glad, I'm not the only one.

No matter what, Sony will show/do/say something that some people here will not like.. and they will make angry posts about it.
 
I never got an email about it - was PS3 only (I check also on my Vita and there was nothing there, as well as through the PSN Web Store and the PS Blog site).
 
I'm going to check my PSN inbox and see if I got this. I may just bank it and save it for a PSPlus renewal. The free three months for one year deal is still on until March 4, so I have time.
 
So what should I spend these $10 on? I looked at Retro City Rampage but it's $15, Scott Pilgrim went back to $10 after being $5 last week so I won't be buying that one, how much is Hotline Miami going to cost when it comes out on PSN?
 
Wow, I got one. Only owned a PS3 since Sept, but got a Vita a few months before that. Did the "Spend 100, get 20!" back late last year... have posted on the PSBlog a few times before... a plesant surprise! It's like I got the Alien Breed PSN Crossplay release for free, and even got 2 extra dollars back to boot!
 
Had PSN since 2007 and PS+ for like a year now, spent maybe like 100 or so in the last few months but nothing yet.

I don't mind too much, but kind of sucks. In canada.
 
US user here. Have spent hundreds of dollars on games, movies and shows over the last 2 1/2 years, but have got nothing so far. The only thing I can think of is that a lot of that was through PSN cards that I bought (took me a while to put my new credit card on there after the hack), but that shouldn't matter in my opinion.
 
Nice, I got 40$ in total back from Sony since I was part of both promo in october and november (get 20$ for 100$ spent and 10$ back for 60$ spent). I'm not really surprised to get the 10$ credit since I'm subscribed to PS+ until 2014 and I did spent quite a bit last year. Before 2012, I only purchased one game which was Flower. Last year, I subscribed to PS+ for 3 months to try it out and came at the right time since it was during the FF sale (the month of march had a lot of good deal).

I easily did spent over 200$ last year on PSN if you combine content & PS+ membership.
 
I got my credit, although it would have been nice if I could have accessed it from the vita rather than having to go use the ps3.
 
Not sure if it is related to the $10 everyone is getting but a couple of days ago Sony sent a message with a $5 code.

Definitely caught me off guard but I am thoroughly impressed and satisfied with the gesture. Still deciding what to spend it on.
