Giolon said:My thoughts exactly...but SEGA says sales of VC2 affect both future potential sequels and its chance of appearing on consoles again. (Paraphrasing RubyEclipse "If you want to see VC back on consoles, buy VC2.")

A well thought out reply.
At least VC's brand of anime works better in the typical school envoirement than trying to emulate the harsh cold reality of war.Haunted said:

What? Konami profit's this last quarter were pratically due to Peace Walker.TheSeks said::lol :lol :lol :lol I'm sorry, but if MGS5: Peace Walker couldn't get more than 20K sales (of which I'm one) expecting a niche title like VC2 to sell to send a message to bring it back to PS3 isn't going to happen.
It sold fairly well in Japan, just not in the US.Prime crotch said:What? Konami profit's this last quarter were pratically due to Peace Walker.

I haven't listened to 2's soundtrack, but I did find out that it has a my favorite piece (VC1 version here) from the first game in it, so it's already at least equal.GhaleonQ said:That said, the soundtrack's better by quite a bit.

He's right though.
I'm buying the game to play it and hopefully enjoy it, not to fund some hypothetical sequel.

Pretty much. I did my part in purchasing the first one, why should I have to buy it on a different platform with a change of direction I don't particularly care for in the hopes that it gets another console version funded? All the engine work's been done for the first game, making another title should therefore be cheaper to begin with. And we all know the profits for VC2 would be going towards recouping it's own development costs first and foremost, never mind this "fund the franchise' BS.lordoftherink said:I'm buying the game to play it and hopefully enjoy it, not to fund some hypothetical sequel.

Has alot of info about the sequel, the interview will most likely get you really hyped for this game. Since Sega have gone all out on this one, it sounds like.
Also have some info about how the first game did, etc. etc.
VC2 interview start at 43 minutes, 55 seconds, and last abit more than an hour, if you don't have time to listen to it all.
The podcast also contain one of the hosts singing Lady Gaga's pokerface due to a lost bet if Mass Effect came to PS3. Wich is pretty funny.
I enjoyed listening to that. Sounds like they gave the multiplayer side a lot of attention which is good. Too bad none of my local friends like this game though.
Still 30+ characters is fantastic, especially when you consider they crammed it all on a UMD.
