Looks great! Loved the first one so much as it's my favorite vampire game. Like the blood queen character cause she looks hot and badass, definitely a powerful vampire.

Trailer looks ok (although no 4K is bizzare) but really this game will live or die depending on its writing and atmosphere, and that's impossible to judge yet. Naming MC "Phyre" is not a great sign though.

I think Princes are overseers of a district and aren't defined by gender. Of course it's 2024 so that shit will be pushed to the maximum. I think the Prince of New York was a woman in those VNs.

Yes. In VtM there are different types of Vampires, called "clans", which have access to different ranges of abilities and each clan has its own unique bane. In the case of the Nosferatu, the clan the character in the picture is part of, their bane is being horrifically ugly.

Besides how this franchise makes the vampires more interesting compared to most other vampire franchises. I also really like some of the focus on other non vampire beings like the Werewolf, Wereshark a.k.a demon Shark secret boss from the first one. The Gargoyle etc etc. I hope there's a good amount of those non vampire beings too in the game just like the first. There's still some in the lore they could add like a Mummy or one of those advance androids from the lore.

Melee combat was one of the weak points in the first Bloodlines. Haven't played it with new community patch so i don't know if they changed it.

Standards are higher now. Back then few games offered the strong narrative the original had to make up for its shortcomings.

Justice? I played it and really enjoyed it. Very similar to Dishonored. Obviously a lower budget game and has its issues, but worth playing IMO.

Funny claptrap style side character - check

Female Sassy smart scientist - check

Powerful yet "benevolent" "fe/male" noble character - check (nothing against calling it a prince because it's a Vampire specific therm, but they sure going to explore this and give the character some sort of sexual ambiguity, mark my words. This probably supposed to be Voerman twins of this game)

The only character that looks to belong to Vampire the Masquerade is the square jawed generic enforcer (check) equivalent to the LaCroix body guard of the first game.
