lol

Robert Scoble is known for his sensationalism and attention-whoring, so I'd keep that in mind.

Either way I hope this phone does well. It's pretty sad how Samsung is monopolizing sales/profits in the Android space, they do need to be knocked down a peg by someone.

kernel version? no, does that matter?

4.2.2 with an update "soon" to 4.3 though. hype for this phone is going away quick for me

I feel the same way, that video was quick and didn't really go into much detail but I get the impression that I'm not going to want to upgrade from my Nexus 4.

It does to me, they've been using 3.0 on their phones but now that they are owned by Google I was hoping for 3.4 at least.

The damn phone was approved by US Cellular, Verizon, Sprint, and most recently T-Mobile. Why would AT&T get the jump on it?

Not sure if this is new or not, but playing with urls...:

People are skydiving out of space ships. But you can't design your own phone? Not anymore. Now Moto X lets you choose the front, the back, the accents, the wallpaper, the memory, and add a signature phrase. It’s all your call.

It's not letting me make an account. "Create Account" just loads the same page. Lame.

4 days for custom colors, pretty cool.

Touch Each Other, Not Phones
Moto X responds to your voice, no touching necessary. (That's what she said.)

wow...on a corporate website. lol.

Anandtech, The Verge, Android Central and others pubilshed their hands-on on their websites.
