Every other day when I go to the supervisors meeting they grill us over and over about the Hatch Act and how we have to make sure everyone is aware that there should be NO POLITICAL ACTIVITY on government time. We're only barely allowed to have political bumper stickers on our cars after much debate lol
We're also being given intensive 'sensitivity training' because there is huge swells of racism after Obama won last time; and we're being given the same meetings now about it. A huge "It's the White House, not Black House" graffiti; ripped down Obama calendars/photos, numerous "sand ******" comments caught; three employees fired for their comments. We're trying to avoid this disaster this year
You're making me wish I kept those mailings. It never came right out and said it but if you read in between the lines it was blatantly obvious who they preferred you voted for. LOL.

Can we talk about how Biden knocked the abortion question out the fuckin park? Empathetic to religion but respectful of women's choices. I really didn't know he could do so well.

why not just fire all of the people who do that? i think it says something about them if they're not able to keep their emotions in check, at the very least. not worth having around. i'm sure others would gladly accept a job there too.
Lol i felt the same way. His avoidance communicated a lot more to people their problems. Whereas Romney stayed aggressive with the bullshit and so uninformed folk wouldnt know any better.
CNN said women liked Ryan a lot better than the men did. I'm guessing it was becuase of Biden's demeanor.

We fired almost anyone that we could prove did something like this (thus the three let go employees) and anyone who was Union we forced the issue and at least netted suspensions out of it. But even though we launched major investigations into the graffiti and the calendar ripping, we never were able to find out who did it.
It's a very difficult task when everyone was freaking out in a Depot that is like 75% Republican, last I remember hearing.

I only watched NBC's coverage and their panel came to a consensus that the debate was a tie. Next Tuesday's presidential debate will be very important to say the least

I'm an independent, and I can't fathom people who say Ryan won the debate over Biden. Were they not listening to what the two were actually saying and just listening to tone of voice?
We're human beings, not puppies! We can go on more than "Oh Biden is saying something but it's loud and angry! He's a meanie-face!" "Oh Ryan is calm and collected! He clearly knows what he's talking about!" Just listen to what was actually said and it's obvious who won the debate.

Biden easily won the debate, but I could have done with less laughter and smiling. It's hard to control when your opponent is describing his tale of not aborting his "bean" fetus, and how that somehow correlates to what poor people go through when considering abortions. Or discussing how they're going to fix the economy by cutting taxes and "cutting spending" (but not on the military) which totally doesn't mean cutting spending on the middle and lower classes. Ryan should have taken a page out of Romney's playbook and just lied through his teeth. Hopefully the President will take a page out of Biden's playbook and not let him get away with it at the next debate.
I like the twitter wall of conservatives calling out the moderator as biased, despite questions like "I know a soldier, and he thinks the drawdown of troops was politically motivated and that it's costing lives" directed squarely at Biden. She didn't let either candidate get away without answering questions.
