If a cat was doing that, it wouldn't keep running into things. Someone post the world's smallest cat picture.
It looks like the video was edited a little (there are pauses and gaps in movement and sound... it isn't buffering problems either), so I find it hard to believe the dog was doing it for that long. I could always be wrong, but it's hard to fathom that a dog can do something like that.

I don't think it would be difficult to teach a dog to shit in a box. Dogs tend to shit outside anyway. I think it's less a question of "would you rather have shit on your carpet or shit in a box?" but rather "would you rather have shit in your house or shit outside?" I've seen footage of this dog (or at least one which looks extremely similar and also skates) on the news before, without any of the pauses or gaps in movement and sound that you're talking about. I'm pretty sure that it's real, and I'm pretty sure that it's totally awesome.Diablos said:

The cutest thing I have ever seen in my life was my bernese mountain dog who'd go in the back of my house, at the forest, I was there, and I saw he had found a little snake.

I dont need to constantly watch over my cats and make sure they aren't eating GLASS! OR their own shit or whatever is in front of them.
I truthfully think I have some of the smartest cats known. I have 4 currently and have learned behavior from my wife and I.
Gizmo - the runt and the genius of the lot. Plays fetch like a dog, can use the toilet, open doors, respond to complex voice & gesture commands (IE get under there-referring to our entertainment center. Another is me patting my lap.. she'll SPRINT from whereever shes at and jumpinto my lap and lay down)
Bogie - the lone male is quite bright. He opens doors with knobs (usually for the other cats),responds to voice commands. He lacks the willpower to stop eating though.
Lilo- My wifes black long hair. Let's just say her and I don't like each other much.
Pebbles- my wifes other long hair is pretty bright too.
Dogs are WAY too dependant and a giant pain in the ass.

None is better than the other... they just suit different people's lifestyles and tastes better than others. I like both cats and dogs, myself.

Dogs are smarter than cats. But I owned both, and cats are really more different from one another than dogs are. Dog species differ in character, but different dogs belonging to the same species tend to behave the same. Cats are a completely different matter, to me. We had 3 cats at home, and they were all very different.
Fanny - Always scared to death, and the hungriest cat I've ever seen. You tap on the bowl with a spoon, it comes running from wherever it might be. She doesn't know how to meow even, so all she does is funny noises.
Gigi - She was incredibly loving, followed my mother wherever she went, and actually jumped on us when we tapped on our knees. She also washed the other cats, and was really the mother figure. She was always greeting guests and jumping on guests who were sitting down in the living room.
Maya - Maya was the playful, shy one, until Gigi died. When Gigi died, she became extremely social and began to greet guests and jump on them, too. Fanny and her are pretty much fighting all the time, now. Fanny usually wins, and comes back with hair dangling from her mouth after a fight.
