Hi all,

Don't ask why...but I find myself in need of screenshots of as many games as possible where the main character is performing a "butt-stomp". You know, the move where a character jumps in the air and slams down on the ground with his butt. This usually smashes objects or enemies on the ground. It's sometimes known as "the ground pound" or similar.

Please...if you have any screen shots where this move is being performed, I would really appreciate it.

Games I can think of off-hand that have the move:

I haven't played Psychonauts yet (I know) but doesn't Raz have some kind of stomp move in it? I remember seeing it on that G4 show, think it was Icons.

Not buttstomps per se, but a lot of female fighting game characters have moves where they fly at the enemy butt-first. Yuri (KOF), Tiffany (Rival Schools/Project Justice), R. Mika (SFA3), Q-Bee (Vampire Savior), and June (Star Gladiator/Plasma Sword) all do it, off the top of my head.

You can do that move in SML3: Warioland -- that's pretty early. Most of the Mario Party games feature at least one minigame with the move.

Anyway, someone else can tackle the GB/GBA games -- all the Warioland games feature the move. I'm tempted to credit SML3: Warioland as the first game with the move in it.
