Vita PSN Game And Service Thread

My Vita arrived and first thing I did was fuck up the application of the of the P4 cover. Picked up some fabric from God knows where

Is there a way to clean the underside so I can try again?

Speaking of speed tests, why does my internet dl from PSN and everywhere else at about 1.2mb/s when my speed test is about 15mbs?

how are hlthe graphics? is it a good chess game, not only janky top down?

I love chess. if you give an honest impression/assessment, ill consider getting it tomorrow.

itd be fun to play too, with a friwnd who also likes chess.

Edit: Also I bought a white Vita because of your impressions of it some pages back. Really love it a lot more than my black one. I just sold my black one, but I'll always miss it. You never forget your first love ;)

Agree on all counts :>

I left the forum there, sometime ago. Everyone, mods included, are deluded by the Apple-juice. The roast of Shadowgun by Eli (in that thread) was one large nail in the coffin. The perpetual love fest for the incremental device uogrades, flash like games, Nintendo amd Sony shoukd make iOS stuff...anyhow...

Something I really appreciate about white, not to be understated against the black Vita:

the white doesnt show fingerprints/smudges. I love that the device never looks dirty after use (I wipe it down every night, too).

i also dont believe it will yellow over time, the front (which you touch) is not white (its behind the clear facing), and the back lacks the matte of the black - its all 100% glossy finish.

I love the white.
 
Has Rockstar ever mentioned the possibility of the PS2 GTA titles being released on the Vita? GTA 3 has been out for nearly a year and Vice City is out next month on the iOS and Android, why not the Vita?
 
what games do you think will be free next month for ps plus? I was hoping for some casual gaming like plant vs zombies or modnation racers and hot shots golf
 
Every Vita user should buy When Vikings Attack! That game is pure awesomeness! Ironic, funny, great for quick play sessions and online evenings with coop and competitive multiplayer.

Go and buy it, I'm serious, it's the biggest surprise I've had in months!

Well we know Gravity Rush and Uncharted are sticking around for a while so that leaves FFT, Wipeout, Mutant Blob, and JSR as the games that are gonna be on the rotation block. My guess is Mutant Blob and FFT go down and something like Escape Plan plus a PSP game replace it.
 
In Meg Ryan's defense the laugh is supposed to be awkward, or else Yuna wouldn't tell him that hey maybe should laugh anymore, lol.
 
I Need help again. Your opinions always help my decisions and I'm never dissapointed. So.. Sine Mora or Retro City Rampage? I will get both eventually but only one for now. I tried both demos, i like both.
 
Dumb question!

Do I have to download a game to make it available if I let my ps+ subscription lapse and renew again in a few months?

Me. I've been playing a game with AbandonedTrolley too. If you want to play a game with me, be sure to use the vita version. The game is not crossplay, and using it on ps3 defeats the purpose (for me).

Edit: i think i'm at 100 friends. I'll try to delete some later.

I have it too, haven't started it in ages though. But since kerrak's already on my friend's list I thought I'd mention it. ;)

I thought the way it plays was a bit awkward (takes forever), but perhaps its getting better. It sure does look nice.
 
Now that I've had my Vita for a couple of weeks, I've got to say—I love how Sony beat the Wii U to the punch when it comes to this integrated comments and activity social aspect, but seemingly had no idea what to really do with it.

If you could actually create new posts, and have that whole aspect more prominent in the OS, it'd be awesome. Instead, it's simply following up on automated activity notices. Really feels like a great feature that could have been so much more with a little extra effort.

There's nothing really stopping them from doing that in a later firmware update. Heck, originally we didn't even get notifications if someone commented or liked the automated posts.

Yeah, this. In the beginning we had the basic framework, but it was completely unusable as a social feature. Since then, there have been several improvements to the system in place. We'll see what comes next.
