So u just got my Vita and I'm loving it do far. But I'm confused be remote play. Can't I play games on my Vita from my PS3? If not, what's it for?
You can play every PSONE game on playable on PS3 vita using remote play. Other games have to opt in to support it. So it is not really that useful.

Fiancee and I are jumping the vita train with everyone else thanks to the awesome Black Friday sales. Excited for so many games. Honestly I'm quite surprised at the quality of not only the Vita but the games put out thus far.

I'm excited for what games could come out for it. I do want a Dark Souls game on it.

wat

I swear remote play was a heavily touted feature before and during the vitas release? It was in ads everywhere. So it's just as bad as the PSP's?

wooha..just noticed that Derrick01 is banned, poor thing I hope she got her Vita..

Derrick If you read this and you got your Vita..just wink twice

Don't PSX games work via remote play?

Brand new vita owner here. 2 questions:

1) If I stick with a low capacity card for now, is it easy enough to offload game content onto a pc? I'm primarily worried about losing the ability to re-download the PS+ games once they get rotated out.

2) Does anybody know whether the pay 60 get 10 back promotion (that ends tomorrow) includes paying for PS+? I'll go ahead and buy a year if that's the case.

They talked about remote play a bit when it was NGP. That talk quieted down as the japanese launch neared. It was never in ads or anything.

Missed opportunity though. It's a very cool feature and if implemented across the board could be pretty huge. The *only* reason I want a Wii-U is the idea of playing something like Assassin's Creed 3 in bed. The vita gives me close to that experience with its own games, but man when I'm totally hooked on a ps3 game it would be so nice to stream it to the couch so I could play it while sitting with my wife or to my bedroom.

Isn't that the new FW update feature? Lol

Lol, I guess I'll have to look into that then. I thought the new FW was all about the PS+ stuff on Vita.

I'm talking about streaming amazon instant video on the Vita or streaming a bluray on the Vita..

US people, if you didn't know, they finally price dropped PSN games

Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational – PS Vita (now: $17.99 original price: $35.99)
Little Deviants – PS Vita (now: $17.99 original price: $26.99)
MLB 12: The Show – PS Vita (now: $17.99 original price: $26.99)
ModNation Racers: Road Trip – PS Vita (now: $17.99 original price: $26.99)
Reality Fighters – PS Vita (now: $17.99 original price: $26.99)
Resistance: Burning Skies – PS Vita (now: $26.99 original price: $35.99)
Smart As… – PS Vita (now: $26.99 original price: $29.99)
Uncharted: Golden Abyss – PS Vita (now: $35.99 original price: $44.99)
Unit 13 – PS Vita (now: $26.99 original price: $35.99)
WipEout 2048 – PS Vita (now: $17.99 original price: $26.99)

Buy Hot Shots Golf. Smart As and Unit 13 are pretty great too

For any dungeon crawler fans, check out Labrynth Legends and let the creators know you want it on Vita - https://twitter.com/CreatStudios/status/273494613640224768

WTH????

I'm not sure about streaming via remote play, but the Netflix app works quite well if you have that.

Anybody have input on the Little King Story on Vita? Its only available on PSN in the US... I've read reviews, but would like GAF's input. Worth the full price?

There were a lot of positive impressions if I recall.

Buying a physical copy on eBay for a few bucks more might be worth it as you easily resell this to get most of your money back.
$40 digital is hard for me to swallow.

The vita just needs basic DNLA service.
I mean, the PSP did right?

I'd never use it but I know a lot of people like it.

The logo was present when they announced the vita in Jan 2011 (Damn that was nearly 2 years ago)

I'm quite surprised that a few psp titles dont have vita sequels already

Locorocco
Patapon

seem like no brainers 8(

I forget the name of the game where you take your crew and cut up attack ships made of cardboard ? that was a good game 8)

It doesn't make sense to release those games for Vita right now. The userbase is too small, and those games aren't system sellers.

Is untold legends any good?

I have UL:BotB on UMD and enjoyed what I played of it. It is a basic dungeon crawler but that is exactly what I was looking for when I picked it up. I'll be re-buying it to have on the Vita before it goes off sale.

I was really hoping we'd have Warriors Lair (Ruin) by now. The Vita needs a good dungeon crawler; but I guess that game has been canned since I haven't heard anything about it in such a long time.

I don't know much about the other UL game on sale this week. I was planing on doing some more research on it before deciding whether to pick it up.

I only played the first one, which was a launch title for the PSP. It's painfully generic, the characters are paper thin as is the story, but it's a capable dungeon crawler. And it's...less than 4 bucks.

Yeah I'm tempted to get it with the low price

My frustration with the release of Warriors Lair is the reason why I'm thinking of getting Untold Legends.

How long does the discounts last? is it the same with the free games or its only for a week?

Remote play only support few games.and Folklore is not supported so yeah it's now pretty freaking useless.

Man, shut up about Folklore already, it´s a shitty overhyped game that´s useless and no fun.

What exactly are you what the helling? It was released at $50 and it's now $40 and it's always 10% cheaper on DD, not sure what you're reacting to.

It still pretty expensive. They should make it $25.

so is ACIII liberation any good? it seems to have gotten bad reviews from pretty much everywhere.

I like it. But the last AC game I've played was AC1 years ago, so maybe my expectations for it aren't' that high. I'm not too far in the game, but so far every mission feels like AC. There's stealth, killing, and the awesome free-running.
