could be worse, you could've paid $3 for it on Google Play
Would be better on Google Play. Cause you'd have 15 minutes to play it, see it's crap, and then get a refund.

I suspect you very much could put your finger on it
For those outside the US, where are you importing Technika Tune from?
I was going to go with Videogamesplus but they're not carrying it. :|

I assume you're probably not in Switzerland, but the particular online shop where I usually buy my games from orders import games on request and sells them at acceptable prices (an imported Vita game usually costing as much as a regular PS3 game, sometimes less). For those outside the US, where are you importing Technika Tune from?

Good morning, afternoon, evening Vitabros. I will be purchasing SFxT this week. Anyone else getting it so I can try an online match?

I am eyeing this at Play-Asia. But still haven't committed to make the final decision of ordering. Too expensive for someone that never tried the franchise but it's somewhat curious to try it.
Everyone needs to buy Corpse Party (when it goes on sale) and it's sequel Book of Shadows when it comes out in December.
There's a sequel to corpse party?! Is it psp or vita?

It's PSMobile. They were highlighted in the Gamescom trailer.
so I'd bet it's a iOS port. It's PSMobile. They were highlighted in the Gamescom trailer.
Play-asia, both korean and japanese version have full english text.
Free shipping too.
Caution that importing the Korean version of Technika Tune pretty much guarantees you'll never see any DLC ever unless you perform identity theft to get yourself a Korean PSN account. Probably the biggest reason to get the US version - much cheaper to get US PSN credit than JP PSN credit no matter where in the world you are and parity has been promised across all three versions.
So Tune is going to get DLC?
This is why I'm paranoid to import Project Diva f. If it gets DLC or even worse DLC with trophies, you can't access the DLC since the account needs to be Japanese. So impossible trophy 100% for non-Japanese accounts.
Happened recently with Ciel Nosurge as an example.
The one account Vita thing is really getting on my nerves.
If it helps, Platinum trophies typically don't require DLC trophies.
Making a Japanese PSN account is trivial, though it's pretty annoying how many hoops you have to jump through to switch on Vita. I'm currently in Japan mode for Project DIVA f but will switch back for Technika Tune and others.
Yes, I'm aware of Japanese accounts and all. I've been playing Japanese PSN and retail games for years. But that was all PS3 software. Now the Vita comes out and throws a curveball with only one account support and says "all digital content, games and DLC, are off-limits unless your account matches the region Store".
So for trophies, many games are off-limits now since you can't access Japanese games. Assault Gunners, Digi-Q Tanks, Piccoto Knights, a handful of Japanese exclusive free apps to name a few. A growing number.
Then there's games that have retail versions in Japan that you can import and play while on your US/EU account, but if that gets any DLC, you can't access them. So some DLC that may aid or be necessary for Platinum in an RPG for example...off-limits. DLC that also has trophies...off-limits, making 100% of-limits.
I've been deciding whether to make a Japanese or US account as my main now. There are major sacrifices to be made on both ends as far as availability of games.
Then there's PS3 game problems too, like inFamous Festival of Blood not being possible to 100% on a Japanese account or Gundam Battle Operation only being possible realistically on a Japanese account.
It's a very tough decision.
I've almost wrapped up Resistance BS, and in all honesty I don't get all of the negativity this game had! I felt the campaign was pretty damn solid all around, especially for a frickin' handheld FPS.
After playing this I'm more at ease with Nihilistic doing Call of Duty. I'm not expecting AAA homerun, but I think it'll be pretty competent. Just had to share that lol
So... do both? The system restore to change accounts procedure is annoying but not terribly complicated; the hardest part is acquiring a second memory card.
Yeah, memory card switching an option if all you want to do is access and play the games...but it still doesn't make getting trophies on your main account on these Japanese exclusive digital Vita games a possibility. And again retail JP games you can play on any account, but if that JP retail game gets DLC trophies? Impossible 100%.
My main concern with the account issue if trophies. If trophies didn't exist or I didn't care about them, then this wouldn't be too much of an issue...an inconvenience to access the content, but not a big deal. But my importance of them does exist and I like to have everything I play and complete on my main account.
It's funny actually...how many people that care about trophies are in the dark about this. The "unachievable" thread on ps3trophies.org is completely oblivious to what's going on with the Vita and the one account system disallowing the possibility of even games being accessable and DLC trophies.
If I really wanted to I suppose I could play it on both accounts (as I bought it retail) and earn all trophies twice. Not sure how many retail games block that though.
Everyone needs to buy Corpse Party (when it goes on sale) and it's sequel Book of Shadows when it comes out in December.
I'm not sure any retail other-region accounts are blocked. The only thing blocked would be micro-transactions since that calls up the source region's PS Store.
The Vita is region-free but only in the retail sense. Digital sense, it is region and account locked.
Was planning on buying this today, so I'm happy about this. Is Book of Shadows the romance-comedy spin-off that seems more happy go-lucky?Everyone needs to buy Corpse Party (when it goes on sale) and it's sequel Book of Shadows when it comes out in December.
ok thanks for the good post
I'm only wondering if PSN information is stored to the game card itself in any case - I recall hearing the game cards -can- have writable portions, and am wondering if there are game cards that permanently tie themselves to the first PSN account that uses them.
I remember when Vita was first announced, then NGP, and they said how the game cartridges could hold the saves, patches, and dlc on them. That was a huge selling point for me. The crazy thing is that, if these cartridges are 4gb which I think they are, many of the retail games out right now COULD hold that data on it, which makes it all the more aggravating that they don't. Most if not all even require a memory card just for the saves, which could EASILY be put onto the cartridges.
But then they realised they would have no way to sell you overpriced memory cards, so they quickly backpeddled.
