The Ape Escape game is Ape Quest, which is a JRPG.
Isn't Sumioni free ?
It's $20, probably more than that in Japan.
I honestly in full seriousness hope we get that too. So much. really. I've always wanted to play it and they never dropped the price. assholes.
definitely, but this morning I remembered I'm on holiday the weekend after this upcoming one, and since RO is out on tuesday in the US, even if I preordered it's unlikely to swim across the Atlantic in 4 days, right?i'll tell you how it is if you play RO with me when you get it, fair trade right
Yeah especially when you start climbing around and shit as Desmond and he makes witty remarks. It's just like "eurgh, fuck off, i want to play Assassin's Creed, not Uncharted". Honestly i think i turned off the console and had a break every time Desmond popped up in the last game and especially in Brotherhood.
REALLY looking forward to Liberation though

i'm scared enough of importing and somehow missing the courier as is, so I might hold off until I get back before ordering it.
grargh, life getting in the way of too-many-games![]()
yeah, see I both agree and disagree with you lol.
my stance was that i LOVED the desmond thing at first. The problem was that his story didn't advance in any interesting way. Because to me the story was about Desomnd I found it very hard to be invested in the characters from the animus. They were more a means to get the info needed to advance Desmonds story.
Brotherhood was the best AC game so far by a long way but it still had these same issues.
Liberation is so appealing because it does away with caring about whos in the animus and its all about the assassin so there story can be told with full meaning.
Potentially the Desmond thing could have been great (I actually liked the bits where you play as him) but he's story progresses so damn slowly I kinda lost interest.

Anyway I have AC:L preordered but its my birthday at the end of november so i get to treat my self.
Will be getting a 32 gig card along with need for speed and RO when it arrives over here in UK. Prob pick up COD as well because I like to have a competitive shooter to play online now and then. I still play resistance here and there despite its flaws because of this.
Then il prob buy a load of amazon and psn credit so I can still get games when the little one arrives and all my money is taken away from me.
are there plans to release a 64 gig card because I think thats what it really needs. Would be great to go all digital but memory and cost is stopping that being a reality for me. Plus I want to keep some of my fav films on there as well.
Ahh you're like Mr OppositeSee, i saw the game as mainly "about" the Assassin, and the Desmond parts were the boring "hurry up and bugger off" bits
Different strokes for different folks i guess

And yeah i guess i could use the excuse that i am "treating myself to AC:L and NFS for my birthday...a few weeks too soon", good thinking Batman! Ha.
A 64GB card would be cool. Initially i said i wasn't going fully digital, just digital for games that seemed like good ones to have at all times... but the convenience of having all games with me on my memory card won out and i've only ended up buying 3 cart games![]()

You guys think LBP Vita is still worth picking up? I potentially might grab AC: L next week and despite my dislike for my import copy, give RO a second try but I still kind of want to pick up LBP.

Give me Picotto Knights.
Just checked the PS Store on my PS3 and went to the latest games section for PS Vita.
Nothing. I guess it's true, Vita haz no games?
Does anyone still play Treasures of Montezuma? I have just did 16.5 million points without using any extra stuff. Tell me it is something special.
Those plus that MUD FIM motocross game. Plenty of stuff out for Vita.Wrong vita store section, troll or genuinely uninformed?
From today to next friday these games are scheduled for Vita in EU:
-Street Fighter x Tekken
-Silent Hill: Book Of Memories
-Super Monkey Ball
-Assassin's Creed III: Liberation
-WRC3
-Need For Speed Most Wanted
-Smart as...
Plus some PSM stuff and hopefully some PSN titles.
In North America there are even more releases.
Doesnt RO need a patch to play online? and if so will importing it allow you to patch it?
I'm more concerned about the possibility of region locked servers, but I haven't heard anything attesting to that, so it's something of an unfounded concern.
as for the patch - i automatically assumed that with the patch having come out so long ago now in Japan that copies for the western market would already have it built in. Hope so anyway lol.
Started Corpse Party, Felghana and ZHP. I can happily say that in the short time I've had with them I'm mightily impressed.

Oh man that is extremely addictive!Give me Picotto Knights.

May pick up MGS HD Collection today, found it quite cheap in a local game store. To keep this PSN related, how essential to the experience is Peace Walker? For the standard collection game the Vita version is cheaper than the 360/PS3 one, but once Peace Walker's cost is factored in it'd be more expensive.
The idea of having portable versions of MGS 2 and 3 appeals to me though.

Peace Walker is a main series entry but not really required.
My wife has taken over my Vita with that game and she managed to get around 48 million I think, maybe a little higher. Seems very random though how your score is but she tends to normally get between 10-15 million for her weekly high score.
HOW???
Like I said, I did 30 million. Those combo points just rack up all of a sudden and when it's over, you see you grew millions of points in a matter of seconds.

Your wife is a hardcore gamer.
You need to buy these games next week. Yes, your wallet will cry. But both you and your Vita will be happy:
- Ragnarok Odyssey
- Assassin's Creed III: Liberation
- Need For Speed: Most Wanted
And I also didn't realize that MBA had a patch released!
But it's also, by far, the best MGS game to play on the go; and playing it on the Vita should be so much better than on the PS3 because of the dual analog sticks. Just wish the PSN price would drop from $40...

OK, so when can we get DJ Max Technika in the US from a non-import site (Gamestop/Bestbuy/Amazon/etc)?

Also, is Ragnarok for sure shipping at the end of the month? I've got my preorder through Newegg and need to go cancel my Gamestop preorder soon.

News of titanic proportions! The entrance to the Sundered Land will open October 30th and the website is LIVE! http://ragnarokodysseyvita.com/
Mind is blowing, thats not true is it?!
Liberation has a dedicated jump button, the X button. The right trigger runs, but doesn't automatically jump at ledgesinstead, you have to press X to jump. That's a big change from a series that typically hasn't had a real jump button.
I'd be quite happy with this. Sumioni seems like the perfect "Expensive freebie, that not many will own" style game, and I'd probably be the first in line to buy it if it even went on a 50% off sale.
Crazy Taxi would be cool, and Ape quest looks like a fun Dragon Quest-like game that'd easily be a fun, meaty diversion.
I'd easily be happy if these were the US first Vita+ games.
Valhalla Knights 3 has a red light district where you can spend time with female cast members like Cheria if you pay them money. This starts a "sexy time" event where you use the touch screen to increase how a girl feels about you. If her feelings for you are high enough you can trigger a quest. Raise her affection to the maximum level and she *joins* you in battle.
If turning hostesses into dragon slayers isn’t your thing you can create adventurers too. Valhalla Knights 3 has a bunch of different races including human (boring), dwarf, beast, nightmare, and machine. After you create a team you can challenge another player to a 7 on 7 fights over ad-hoc connectivity. Win and you can earn arena points which you can use to obtain weapons and armor. You can also loot bodies of fallen foes by giving them a "hands on" search.
