This part confuses me; what would you classify as a 3D fighter?

I didn't even realise he said it was getting a sale - thought it was a delayed US release or something...obviously needed one anyway, hope people that bought it get some psn credit as it's a bit ridiculous.
SFxT now up to buy in UK through PS Store ... £39.99
£10 too much for me, especially with all the extra costumes I'll need to buy. Didn't see any preorder bonuses mentioned on amazon/shopto..
£40 for a vita game is too much in general imo. Even for NFS Most Wanted that will be pushing it - will probably go retail if it's another 40. I won't bother with a retail SFxT...will have to wait it out.

NLKS is still just an icon for me, not sure when that is due :S

Got a strange Vita question, and now with the general thread close it's even more out of place.
I will be picking up a Vita tomorrow, but I know with most electronics there are inferior and superior reissues of the same hardware, sometimes with things missing, or with upgraded cooling and the like. I was wondering if some stores had an old(better?) stock, or if the newest Vita off the press is the one to get.
Anyway, hope someone can help.

I thought Sony was supposed to be having a vita marketing blitz. Where the help is the assassin's creed 3 liberation commercials? Where is the persona 4 commercials? Where is the needs for speed commercials? Where is the vita commercials?
The vita has only been out for a bit more thhan half a year. I don't think you need to worry about that.
SCEE are having one. You expecting SCEA to advertise something?

Also side note...I regret buying SFxT I forgot I didn't like it back when I played it on console. But at least its pretty to look at. The worst part though is that I bought it digital.

I bought it digital as well. Only played it a little bit. I kinda like it. Not as much as a real Tekken, but it's kinda fun. I know I paid way more than it's worth ($40.... sigh), but eh... another $60 to go for the $100 October spending deal.
QUESTION: are we supposed to get some of the costume packs for free or something? I'm confused about what I'm entitled to or not, and the in-game store wants $$$ for all the costumes.

Good point, I guess there is a bit of good news there with the money going towards that $100 deal.
I'm really not sure about the dlc though its kinda all over the place from what I understand. And DAMN there is a lot of dlc for this game. I'm kind of disgusted with that.

As for recommendations, you could check out a general PSP rec thread and see if they're on the list. Not a fan of fighters myself so I don't have any personal recs. I think there's a PSP BlazBlu game?
Since I got 6 months of PS+ free from the IGN thing that was going on a few days ago (not live anymore for anyone wondering), I don't think I'm going to purchase a year of it like I was planning on. So I'm not sure if I'll end up having the $100 in for this month or not. I still may buy enough, but I'm not completely sure. I prefer buying retail over digital for games that offer the choice, so the new games coming out aren't really an option.

The only ones I would get is Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max, and Darkstalkers: The Chaos Tower. Never really liked the PSP versions of GG or BlazBlue.
Mortal Kombat for Vita is what, like $10 at Gamestop? Get it. Other than downgraded visuals, its a pretty good port.

These Death Mode challenges in Sound Shapes are awesome. No doubt I'll be wanting to throw the machine across the room at some point, but beating them is really satisfying.

They seem pretty random so it's more a case of skill with a mass of luck. But still fun.
Just downloaded VLR onto my Vita...the installs are so much faster than PS3's.
