Yep, I've got everything charged/charging. Got SFxT and Retro City Rampage last night for some extra entertainment. I'm in MD near DC so we're not getting the worst of Sandy, but could still easily lose power. Of course, stay safe all who are/will be affected.
I didn't finish the demo. But I got the sense it was a good game.
I have some extra cash thanks to ZOE:HD being a crappy port.
I'll definitely be downloading Zero Escape today.

So what are the best games on the Vita? I picked up one of the Target discounted 3g models.
Mortal Kombat has some low-poly/res character models, but runs at a smooth 60 FPS and you can get it for dirt cheap ($10-$15) and it's packed with a crap ton of content. One of the best values on the system.

Well that really depends on what type of games you like.
Personally I'd recommend Rayman Origins. It looks stunning on the OLED. Gravity Rush is a cool exclusive. Sound Shapes is a nice PSN downloadable. I've heard good things about Uncharted : GA and Unit 13 too. Congrats on your 3G model

Also, YES! I was praying Cave Story would come to Vita. I'm so glad I resisted buying it on the 3ds. I own it on Steam but would rather play on a handheld.
Grr, I want to buy ACIII:L, NF:MW & Ragnarok to get the 20$ refund but i don't know when i will have the time to play those, i got hooked on PSP games, finished Metal Gear Acid 1 and jumped to No`2 now, which look awesome on the Vita.

I got bored of waiting for the PSN store to put up WRC3 so I bought the retail version. Only played it briefly so far but I'm pretty peeved that the 'career' mode is missing. Only single stage, single rally or championship. No 'road to glory' or whatever it's called. Grrrr. A total absence of reviews ought to have been telling, I guess.

The game ain't great looking to be honest. Maybe my standards are too high though. The handling seems fine from my brief blast through a couple of stages, although I'm peeved that you seemingly can't remap the controls (R - accel, L - brake, X - handbrake). I'd rather use face buttons for accel / brake and have the handbrake on R. Graphics and sound are underwhelming, the car selection is underwhelming, career structure is underwhelming. It's underwhelming basically. Wait for a sale unless you're mad keen on WRC.

Clearly the true lesson is that girlfriends should never be allowed near a vita

Shouldn't have to purchase a second-hand DS, though... don't we all have a friend or two with a DS collecting dust in their closet?
If any of you are in Canada, the true true lesson is to pick up a White PSVITA along with AC3: Liberation and a 4GB memory card from BestBuy.ca for $199.
A 2nd Vita means you can have one for the girlfriend with no risk to your primary system.
I discovered a convoluted way of doing it, upload the pictures to Facebook within your Vita then download them back down from Facebook on your PC before hosting them (or maybe you can host from FB, not sure). For some reason my Mac has never liked being connected to the Vita so I had to do it.

No 3G Vita and that's why I'm kinda freaking out. I'm trying to do the $100 get $20 back deal but if the power goes out it'll make things very tricky. If I have to, I'll ask my friend(who's in California) to log onto PSN and buy Liberation + a PS1/PSP game for me. That way I at least get the rebate.
