I'll snap some more in a sec, but for now here's 3
I'm really disappointed by the sub-resolution. Of course it looks better on the Vita, but it would look SOO much better if it was native res. I've been spoiled by Wipeout 2048.

Is Ragnarok Odyssey going to be discounted as well?

Looks like I am picking up RO and AC3:L, and with the $20 I get credited I will be able to use what is left over in my wallet to get P4:G or if they do a PS+ blow out I will have money to spend on that (Lol SCEA, I know).

Then I got PSASBR next month as well. So many games!

The Vita haz no gamez!!!!

Impressions would be grand. Screenshots can only tell so much.
The game is fun, and that's the most important part. I don't know how the console version plays, but I imagine this is pretty similar. As far as I can tell, there are only a handful of differences; sub-resolution, less traffic and the frame rate is mostly stable, but not always. The low traffic disappointed me a bit. Sometimes it feels like I'm driving in a ghost town, I wish the city felt more alive. Pedestrians would be cool, although then again I'm probably just daydreaming about what GTA on the Vita would be like.

Police chases are cool. Just crash into one and then you'll be chased. The longer you are pursued, the more they will try to find you. More cars will be called in, they'll set up roadblocks. Kind of like the star system in GTA, but from what I've played they don't do anything except send more police cars after you and set up roadblocks. You can hear the police radio which is cool, they talk about where you are headed accurately and describe the car you are looking for. I also found it really hard to 'escape' the chase. They were chasing me for quite a while, and while I would get into "cool down zones" (where they lost track of me temporarily) they would soon find me again. Eventually they caught me. You get caught if they corner you for a certain amount of time. There is a meter that fills up until you start moving again.

Overall fun so far, recommended. Honestly I just wish it was native-res. I'm getting used to it though. OH and download the update as soon as possible, frame rate seems more stable after the update.

Looks like AC3: Liberation up on PSN to download. Pleasant surprise.

Oh shit you are right, and it's "only" 36.00. I might get this from PSN then, since it seems that target's b2g1 doesn't include a lot of games when buying online. But it's 2.6gb :/ I really don't know what to erase from my 32gb.

Too bad the other big releases aren't released early.

Man, goes to show you how many lurkers there are on GAF. Barely any one has replied to them in this thread, but they have already racked up 3,000+ views.

Sony did that a while with PSP games after the PSPGo launched, then quit. Nice to see they are doing it again for the Vita, though I hope they stick with it.

I believe he is saying it because no one expected a midnight launch on PSN for this. Instead everyone expected it when the store updates tomorrow .

Damn :/ There's no way that will fit on my card.

Didn't it launch in the UK at £15? I imported it to Canada at that price, because even with shipping it ended up being cheaper.

For some reasons it's £15 at retail but £30 on PSN

How big is NFS?

Edit: ah, 2.6gb? Might buy retail then, I barely have that much space on my card. Does vita need double the space to install or anything? I.e how much memory card space should I need to install a 2.6GB game?

Thanks. Do we know uk PSN prices yet? The ps3 version is up for preorder at £59! So I'm worried that the vita version will also be stupidly priced. Do I wait and see, or order from shopto now for £36?

Edit: going to be sensible and hold off buying. I've ordered the Ps3 version already, and I think not being able to share save games would be annoying. I don't play often enough to do everything twice

I can't tell you how hard I laughed when I saw that.

Who knows what more development time could have done for Vita's most wanted.

I mean 4 platforms, 1 developer. Criterion really worked their ass off. Also i'm always surprised by the lack of higher res textures on vita. Doesn't the device have 712mb of ram?

I'm holding off as well, because the prices are stupid, comparative to the US anyway. Not that it'll make a bit of difference, but I refuse to pay £40 each for NFS and AC3 when they're both $40 in the US as far as I know. It'll probably be £5 cheaper or so at retail, but it's still overcharging.

I wonder if Very got any more reliable lately? I never bothered signing up for an account after reading the reports but they have a £30 off £70 code so both of those would work out at around £22 each after the discount - do I risk it or do they still like to disregard vouchers and charge the full amount?

wanted something to pass the time while I wait for AC:L so I got myself Rebel and Sunflowers. Both really cool games. What I like about sunflowers is that you can set all the controls to the back touch and play it one handed without blocking any of the screen. Works really well.

Best time to play these games is either when you have a 10-15 mins to kill or want to just chill out with some music playing at the same time. Great value as well.

You are all so strange.. keep talking about upcoming games for the Vita.. but noone mentions the best of the bunch.. Smart As. (I have a review ready around 16.00 lol)

I was planning to go full digital with Vita... but then I saw Lumines and BlazBlue for 10 pounds each in Amazon uk and it´s hard (and probably dumb) to resist. It will pass a long time before the store offers those games at that price.

Absolutely adore the guy, went to see him on his recent alimony tour and laughed myself sick.

Even he can't get me interested in a social brain-training game though.

I would love to see him live.. only comedian I have ever seen live is the german "OTTO Walkes".. he was really funny back in the last century..

How big is the game? If it is less than 1 GB, gonna grab it with the $20 credit next month.

Thats good to hear. I want most of my Vita games to be retail.

Yup. It's worth picking up once it's out over there. Be warned though, the PAL release only has the JP voice track. The publisher couldn't afford to license the English off Aksys.

If that kind of thing bothers you, it would be better to import.

Believe it or not, i'm gonna pick up Smart As before NFSMW. I picked WRC3, AC and SFxT last week, so it shouldn't come as a surprise my appetite for some "light" content.
