Thanks for the responses RE the online passes guys.

Can anybody else apart from Vanwinkle confirm that Most Wanted doesn't have an online pass?

If it doesn't I might pickup a box copy locally in Australia.

Its up under search, £40. Was hoping for £35, so will wait and see what the shops do tomorrow.

Nice one, bought.

Yeah i was hoping for £35 too but nevermind. That means it's cheaper to buy the AC3 + Liberation bundle on PSN than it is to buy them separately. Makes a change.

Must have missed this. Joined. I'm officially a Vitabro now.
PSN ID: Shahed1987

Personally I'm gonna play Liberation first even though I've got both. It's set earlier than the the console game, and I'd rather advance in terms of visual fidelity than go backwards. Besides I'm nearly done with Uncharted Golden Abyss so I can start Liberation soon, and who knows when I'll finish Tales of Graces F so it'll be a long time before I get a chance to play ACIII.

Is LBP going to be the only game that was priced sensibly at launch.

Every week is making the decision to stay digital harder and harder, especially when the US get AC3:L for $36.

£40 for digital copy? Yikes. Saying that though I don't plan to go digital for anything. All my games are retail and the only digital games I'll get are whwn it's digital only like Motorstorm RC and Ragnarok Odyssey, or Cross Buy titles like PS All Stars and Sly 4

Hmmm... :/

I expected better.. I guess I was a bit overly hyped for the kind of visuals the Vita could produce. The shot with the bushes is decidedly PSP-esque

Sure, part of the compromises but it indeed does look good on Vita. To further elaborate, we nitpick like this on PC about stupid things like bushes but in the end, it's best not involve yourself with worrying about the details which add to the depth and not really lead in the visual drive of the game.

It looks really good on Vita in motion with everything intact minus the compromises in visual fidelity.

And just reserved my copy at Grainger Games to pick up at lunch tomorrow - for £33. What happened to Sonys "digital downloads will be discounted from retail rrp"? Being nearly double the US price also doesn't help.

Because it's not Sony's game, it's Ubisoft. Ubisoft prices it, not Sony.

Sony should totally take the hit and pay the extra per purchase. 10% isn't that much and it would help promote brand image and digital sales

I don't think they get a say in it. If Ubisoft wants to sell it at £39.99, they sell it at £39.99. Sony can advise them against it, but they can't flat out say no.

I mean as in they sell it at 10% discount and Sony gives the 10% lost per sale to ubi.

Never gunna happen of course.

I know it's been said but NFSMW is amazing on the Vita. It really is like having the console game shrunken down and made portable. I can't believe how polished and complete it is. If you have any desire for a great racing game buy it immediately!

Just realised you can't edit message content when sending friend requests on Vita. Just the request is all. Not unless I missed it somewhere

It's great. Add me to your friends list if you haven't already. We'll play sometime. I just wish it was as good of an open world racing game as Burnout Paradise.

So what is the next game everyone will pick up next? It depends on Vita +, but I'll probably get Little King Story

You accepted mine though so hello!
Hello to you as well! Was wondering who it was. I mean I knew it was probably someone from this thread, but the PSN ID didn't ring a bell at all, and I didn't see it on the spreadsheet...

So verdict on NFS, gameplay wise?
In one word great. I think it plays just like previous games from Criterion. Online is a lot of fun jumping between the different events and I have been enjoying single player just focusing on unlocking all the mods for my Audi R8.

I want Smart As... and Need for Speed, but i can't afford either yet. Nonetheless they'll probably be my next games. After that, Playstation All-Stars.

Ragnarock get! Gamestop only had the Merc edition left so : / that happened. Sure is a nice looking box though. So shiny. Oh and that book. So glossy. Well I guess this isn't so bad. A soundtrack? Well sure i'll take that. Wow this book is thick and full color too hmm. Not bad.

And... I took off 12 bucks by trading in Gravity Rush.

This has been a live unboxing in text form.

It's not just an artbook! To quote H. Protagonist:

:O But we did tell you! "... a 96-page full color ‘Mercenary Guide’ featuring a collection of art, quests, maps, and boss strategies"!

There's still time! You can still order it!

Downloading AC: Liberation and NFS: Most Wanted from the PSN Store right now. Also, I just sent out a couple of friend requests a few minutes ago to some Vitabros. In case I missed anyone, my PSN ID is DrEnglund.

I get the impression PlayStation Mobile stuff isn't doing so hot right now. The killer app Pinky Spots Leg Massage only has 17 ratings.
