dang it, can't select my city as home city in Smart As since I'm not in the NA/EU

using near puts me in Portland as nearest even though the near app works correctly for me

same for me.. I live in the Faroe Islands (normally Near on my Vita finds my street and City all the time) Couldn´t choose any city or country near me. So I had to go with a city called "Holsterbro" in Denmark... (not that big a disaster, because I was born and raised in Denmark).. the weird stuff is when I search for Street Smart Challenges, it only find challenges in Aberdeen..

I guess it has to do with the Smart As World. They probably only programmed some of the biggest countries and cities into the game.

No. Nintendo updates us on hardware sales every now and then, but that's it. They did it a few weeks ago actually an Vita was like, dead Only thing it was above was the DS. It was below PSP.

It is really beautiful though. Nice city, plenty of NPCs doing different stuff. Aveline is cool. Controls well, looks good. Really impressed so far.

Don't have NFS, but about AC compressed audio(just like in Blazblue) sounds like shit, some slowdowns here and there, Aveline is pretty cool just like Ezio, I would say the game feels more like AC than AC 2, which is fine by me, dunno about others.

Welp, after Sandy passed on by our power was thankfully restored around 12:30PM yesterday (yay heat!), and our cable/phone/internet was restored around 9pm, so I'm back in business!

Thankfully our local Target was open, so my daughter and I hit the B2G1 offer. She got Layton and NSMB2, and I got Assassin's Creed Liberation. REALLY impressed with Liberation! Just climbing atop a building and panning the camera around, there's so much detail, and the town is packed!

My character's "wanted" levels aren't so bad, but I've been looking for wanted posters to knock my wanted levels down to nothing. Not really finding much though, so I guess they dont really pop up until you're in the orange.

Also, I'm a little unsure. When dressed as the lady I notice "witnesses" on he map that I can assassinate. Problem is they're not alone. Am I supposed to take them out as a lady?

It handles nicely though. I suppose that's the most important thing. It's just a shame everything else about the game is so underwhelming. It has cockpit view too, that's cool.

If I knew then what I know now, I wouldn't have bought it.

I don't even know why people want to play the game with half your view obscured.

Because I much prefer it. I don't need to see anything but a thin sliver of the road anyway.

(I'm deliberately avoiding the word 'immersive').

Such a shame. I knew the hype for the title went up when the footage of the vita version started rolling out. But I guess the transition to handheld was rushed.

I'm a big fan of cockpit view, but I personally think it's not needed in more arcade-y racers. Chase cam suits Burnout/NFS better.

Ordered AC3 and MGS - risked Very (I know, I know...) with the £30 off £60 for new customers - makes them £15 each IF they honour the voucher - I'm a new customer so I don't see why not. We'll see anyway.

Planning on playing through AC3 and then trading it in towards NFS, which should hopefully have gone down a bit from the EA-taxed price it's launched at. I'm not disputing it's a great game, but until EA can price their games fairly in the UK I'll wait for a price drop on it.

Oh? That's a first (and probably one time only) then, cause all the PSP bundles just came with the UMDs in a little sleeve, like this one.

Madden Bundle had the game come in the same cheap packaging that the AC:L one had. On the bright side I was able to score a used copy of the game the day it literally came out, some guy bought the bundle at GS and just flipped the game in as he bought it lol.
