Blah, made a mistake on DD for my Vita.
I didn't realize that you can't purchase something through a master PSN account and transfer it to a sub-account on the Vita. Not a huge deal as I'm only out about $15 but still a little annoying.

It's absolutely the platform I've spent the most on in the first year. Seven games in nine months, eighth next week. That doesn't include Sound Shapes and Frobisher Says!, either. I'm a physical kind of guy but am still running low on my 8GB card.
Going to make a spreadsheet of everything I have to get.

Basically I just use an account to make all of my purchases and sub-accounts to play them. I used a different account when I first got my PS3 and as time went on I made a new account to actually play games on. I've only purchased physical media for the Vita up until this point and didn't even realize that this would be an issue while using the PS3 to Vita transfer.

Yeah, the first year output of the Vita is definitely the best I've had in a long time. I mean, the vita is basically my main gaming system now, between the PS3, 360 and PC.
I wonder whether I'll still enjoy that game. Not talking about the quality here, but more whether I'd like to replay that and whether its still fun now that I am... 10? years older.

SHIT! I forgot the Vita version was delayed at the last minute. I was originally planning to get the game in conjunction with Sound Shapes but that plan will most likely just be scrapped.
They said the game was delayed to optimize the Vita version. At least they are not releasing it in a broken state.

I play here and there, but can't get into for a long period of time. Maybe if it were a rear view RC racing game akin to Re-Volt I'd find it easier.

Gravity Rush would not work well on the 3DS, in my opinion. I own one, so this isn't some biased remark. The hardware just wouldn't be fit for it.

Hmmm, well, it's pretty straightforward. You gain more "troops" by walking into neutrals. The more people you have, the heavier objects you can lift, the faster you can give them spin, and the better you throws.
Walking into Items picks them up.
R1 Spins the items if you mash it. This gives it a stronger throw + Wider hit depth / area.
X (I think) Dashes.
[ ] Throws.
If you Dash towards an item thrown at you, and have enough people, you can catch the item. (I'd wager max spun items are harder/impossible to catch, but SPU hasn't really used this yet.) Dashes have to re-charge though, you can't spam them. So use them to help get out of the way, or to catch.
This presents a nice play of "Do I spin and gather strength, to take out more enemies?" or "Do I pelt them with rapid-fire, and diminish their numbers??"
There are 60+ Unlockable people that can jump into you group. They have unique animations and voices, and apparently, some even give you special abilities! Only seen faster run speed so far.
So far, the game introduces new features every few mini-stages, and has a boss battle to top off the stage. 1st was an army of vikings, 2nd was a large, stronger viking.
Game runs beautifully. Looks solid, runs very consistently, no hitches or hiccups or anything.
Stage gimmicks seems like they'll show up a lot later on, saw on one todays earlier stream which reflected thrown objects in a diamond-like pattern around the field. Also heard of fighting in traffic!
It's a game with a basic toolset, but a well defined method behind using those tools. Wouldn't hesitate to get it, if one likes games that feel well-made and clasically-tuned. Especially at it's crazy-cheap price, considering how much you're getting in the package.

Not unless you are really bored. VK1 is sort of a dungeon crawling game, you move around in a 3rd person view, then have turn based combat with a party of characters. It has really good graphics for a PSP game, but the world feels very static and it's kind of dull
Aedis Eclipse would be a decent strategy RPG, but the combat is terrible. Blade Dancer is okay,but flawed in places and the ending is terrible, like there was going to be a sequel, but there isn't.
It sucks living on some ancient forgotten Islands up in the North Atlantic. No shop here sells Vita games, so my only option is the PSN store.. and because of EU taxes etc. the prices are so out of sync with the rest of the world, that I can´t get myself to buy any games..

They're only "sort of" region free on Vita. You can play games from any region, but for online you have to have an account from that country, and since you can only have one account on the Vita at a time, you have to delete your previous account. Or something like that, I could be wrong but that's what I remember from when I looked into it a while ago and decided it was too much hassle.

That's not true, you only need an account from the same region for the DLC. If that's a problem you should just ditch your account and create a US one. Much cheaper to buy from there.

To be precise, only the psn store is region specific. If don't need to download anything from the store, you can still play online and download patches just fine, whatever region your game is.
