Ragnarok Tactics looks really good but i'm not hearing many impressions to confirm good buy or not. $25 isn't a bad price if its good and lengthy.

I was surprised by Tokyo Jungle, pretty darn good if you like animals but don't love them enough to cringe whenever they rip each other to shreds.

You could buy P3P two more times to make Toto flip out (haha, jk, maybe, love ya Toto)

Love Tokyo Jungle and I've already purchased P3 three times, lol.

Good suggestions, though ;)

Well, IMO, the best Platinum games are Bayonetta and Vanquish, but Vanquish is probably my favorite -- it's like a love letter to the original MGS in terms of story. Gameplay is tight while being fast and frantic. It's almost like Gears of War meets The Club. It's utterly fantastic. Someday I will go back and play on God Hard and I will finish the challenge levels for my platinum. :)

I thought about buying P3P for $10, but I think I'll just wait and grab a deal on P4G for my first Persona experience.

I think I'm down for Vanquish. I was really interested in it when it came out, but the $60 price tag prevented me from taking the plunge (heard it was only 4 hours long, all that).

And P3P is phenomenal. Worth way more than $10.

ruh oh:

Red Button Films have provided crew and equipment for the past 3 years producing some fantastic scene breaks for the popular Sony Invizimals PSP game. Pit Stop Productions are a great company specialising in Video Games, Animation and Sound production of all shapes and sizes. Series 4 will be filmed later this year somewhere in the North of England...watch this space!

I was hoping they would drop the FMVs for a more traditional look. It's especially going to be weird when the animated show airs...

Oh, I think I get it now. I never played any of the games in the series before. Came too late in the PSP's lifespan, in my opinion. Japan had the camera since 2006, we had to wait almost four years later.

Just bought and played a couple of hours of Persona 3 Portable. I am really digging the setting, and it looks fantastic on the Vita. I got around four hours into FES before shelving, but I think I am going to prefer this because of the streamlined experience and portability. Now to try and beat it before P4G comes (lol yeah right). First time with Persona 4 so I am damn excited to see what all the fuss is about.

I'll take the original Valkyria Chronicles on Vita over 3, with trophy support.

Just got my promotion code in the mail!

Contemplating importing Ys in case they never localize it...

Go hide before Totobeni finds you!

Played about 45 mins of NFS on the PS3, then switched to the vita because my son wanted to use the PS3. Had no problems switching. In some respects I found the PS3 controls a bit loose after getting used to the shorter throw of the vita sticks.

Unlocked all the MW races but only done a few of them, been spending time unlocking mods for the Porsche carrera and Nissan GTR. Do some of the higher level MW races need me to mod up other MW cars, or are they al beatable with normal' cars?

Not sure i can be bothered to complete all the races for each car, I'll probably stop after getting all the MW cars and finding all jack spots/billboards/gates. Then spend my time looking for billboard jumps to beat via autolog

Ragnarok Tactics any good?

I ask as someone whose attention was grabbed by the cover, likes SRPGs, and doesn't care much for Ragnarok.

You can find our few impressions here in the OT.

The biggest slight I hear about it online is that it's "slow" since you can't skip all animations, and there's a little "casting" time before everything you do. You generally can speed them up though. I like watching them personally...

I think it's a great looking game, too, with nicely drawn environments and lots of secondary animation to everything. Probably one of the better looking 3D SRPGs really... the models are very similiar to the RO sprite work. Solid music too.

This is a new game right? Not a remake. Trying to decide between this and Dokuro (and maybe SH BoM).

I just received my copy of Wipeout 2048 and the online passcode doesn't work (it come up as invalid). I'm going to take a stab and guess that it's because it's a US copy and US codes don't work via the PAL/Australian PSN. I also can't install any of my Wipeout HD or Fury packs.

I'll refrain from having a spiel about region locking, DLC, DRM and the like.

Does anyone know of a solution for this? I'd rather not have to wait for the digital version to get dropped to a reasonable price on PSN and buy a second copy of the game.

Craaaaap, missed the konamiuk giveway on twitter :(
Damn you, work !
Would have loved a NLKS code since I can't afford it right now and I'm curiously hyped for this game.

Yeah, totally new. RTactics would have the best replay value I'd bet, as the different paths seems to all offer different battles and such, new classes for clearing them, and a very nice set of tools to help multi playthroughs be as painless as possible.

Really like Dokuro myself, definitely fun if you like it's style, and appreciate how much it offers, in it's own way.

Don't own Silent Hill BOM, so can't entirely say either way on that. I did, however, like the demo, and I'm in no way a SH fan...

Bad luck. I wasn't really hyped for either of them. but enjoyed the SH demo. But i wasn't going to say no to two free codes!

Well, Ragnarok Odyssey has arrived, so that's most of my day gone (probably).

Tactics looks really cool too, would've been nicer if it was a full fledged Vita game - which it isn't, right?

Came here to ask though - ModNation worth the £5.49 they're asking for it on PSN? I know it's not meant to be great.. but £5..

Yep. Would've given the SH code since the demo wasn't really my cup of tea, but would've definitely hanged to NLKS :) looks charming.

It isn't a Vita game, right. It's a PSP game. It actually came out in Japan a good bit before Ragnarok Odyssey.

ModNation is really bad.

There is no solution. Store stuff only works on disks from the region you're also downloading from, and always has.

I downloaded it when it was £8.99 a few months ago and i enjoyed it for that price.

The framerate is a bit terrible, but apart from that i didn't think it was all that bad. If you're interested, i say go for it.

If you hate it, don't kill me! :P

Hey there chums, does anyone know if the JP and EU trophy lists for a game are seperate entities, or if they merge?

I've finished P4G already, and against my better judgement, am considering getting the English version (Which is really stupid, but I'm dumb). Would I be able to get all the trophies again? Or would my Japanese ones just carry over?

I'm pretty sure it works like this:

Some games have multi-language trophy lists when they come out. For example, when I bought Gravity Daze in Japan on release, my Vita (which is set to English language) was earning trophies in English for "Gravity Rush". If I buy the actual English release of Gravity Rush, I won't get any more trophies.

Some games don't have multi-language trophy lists built in (Persona 4 is one of them). Even though my system language is set to English, the trophies were all in Japanese. In this case, I believe you should get 2x trophies if you play the English game later on. I haven't tested this, but it seems likely.

There is no solution sorry.

22 is spot on regarding trophies. It's pretty much on a game by game basis, with the biggest "offenders" for multiple lists being games that don't have the same number of trophies. In P4G's case, it's probably the same list.

All cool. Thanks for the reply.

I ordered through Ozgameshop. I didn't realise I'd end up with an NTSC copy. The cover art is different (and superior) to the PAL version so the hardcore Wipeout fan in me would have owned both at some stage anyway.

Is Lego LOTR still a port of the 3DS version like Batman supposedly was? It's £16.50 at Tesco

The main differences between the console and the vita/3ds version of batman was the lack of a hub world(which as it turns out was a big deal). I don't think it's going to be any different this time around, The console versions are yet to be released but if there is a hub world in lotr, its not on the vita version so its probably a gimped version as well 8(

Modnation is bad if you really care about frame rate. Other than that it is a very fun, very good kart racer

For a kart racer/racing game in general frame rate is and should always be a big deal. (See wipeout)

So vitagaf has the lbp hype come and gone? How many of you are still playing little big planet from time to time?

This reminds me, to those with it, what made a lot say that it's the best LBP yet? All set to get a Vita and planning to get LBP due to a lot of people having said the above, and me being an LBP fan also.

It's basically LBP2 with touch-controls.

I still play it, but the level loading issue is what made me put it on hold. I tried the patch yesterday and it loads levels now but still kinda slow in doing.

Now and then.

The psp version was a definite downgrade from the console version. The LBP experience on vita is almost on par with the console version + its portable + New LBP story levels(lets face it some of the best levels are still the story ones)

Yeah, I really enjoyed the story levels on the two console LBPs. Will definitely get the Vita version.

I will get back to it when the November rush passes :)

I think the hype grazed me and then flew right on by, though. It's awesome but my initial fears of it being too soon for "another LBP" definitely were not mitigated when I actually played it. I got caught up!
