Aww man. Wish I knew about this earlier. I freakin' love rhythm games.

I can't complain though, I won that Spy Hunter contest.

If you got a copy of the game I think you actually lost that contest.

It makes me sad that everybody hates Little Deviants. Just because it's a minigame collection doesn't mean it's a bad game. Those other games in that list have minor to major technical problems, terrible graphics, etc, none of which Little Deviants has. It's not great, mind you, but I don't think it's nearly as bad as everybody makes it out to be.

That's what I thought until I played the demo. :-/

I liked the Little Deviants demo. Unique style, full use of the system gimmicks, native res. If it was a tad cheaper I'd have bought it on launch. If it comes to ps+ I might resub.

Well, it's not for everyone, I'll grant you that.

Yeah, it's main problem was the price. It should have been a $10-15 PSN game. I think it would have been received very differently had that been the case.

lets not be so pessimistic about vita instant game collection, sony themselves said that their goal with igc is not only have free games, but good free games. I don't think game like ben10 or spy hunter will ever made into the list. and I think lego games are good games, but we never get any lego games for ps3 free games, so I don't think we'll get one now for vita.

I think Mutant Blobs, Little Deviant, Mod Nation and Escape Plan will be one of the first free games. maybe even Rayman Origin since Ubi seems on good term with Sony

I'd like having Escape Plan, and I could see that being an IGC game. It's something I've kind of wanted to have, but not enough to pay $15. I really wanted it to be a platformer since I'm not a huge puzzler fan and I love the art style, but still seems like a fun game.

Ben 10: Galactic Racing
Spy Hunter
Reality Fighters
Little Deviants
Modnation Racers: Road Trip
LEGO Harry Potter Years 4-6

#instantgamecollectionyouwishyoudidnotget

I've owned all of these, plus Supremacy MMA. I...win?

In fairness, Modnation, Lego Harry potter and Spy Hunter aren't terrible.

What if, just what if, Sony kicked Vita PS+ off with a bang and included U:GA as a game collection game!?

I'd actually
use my 1 month code
sub for that as much as I hate PS Rental Service. >:/

Nice! Right now I'm downloading COD:BOD on PSN two hours earlier than my local GameStop would sell it to me. Going digital has its perks!

Let's Do This!

When Vikings Attacks is very LOL XD
Reminds me old Midway arcade games like Smash TV, if Vitabros want to add me to play it online I'm always in! XD

Monster Radar is weird. It's made by Sony, but not the video game Sony. It's published by the marketing division (wat) and developed by the Sony GPS peeps. I asked Yoshida why that happened, and he gave me a rather weak "There are different divisions of Sony" answer.

Wow that really is weird :/

So what's the megaton?

SNK released a lot of shooters like Ikari Warriors where you originally had a rotary dial or second stick to aim your shots. They were somewhat awkward to play on a PSP, but if you map the rotation to square and O and then use the right stick for the face buttons, it's very nice. Still not directional, but just press left to rotate left, or right to rotate right.

Unfortunately, only Ikari Warriors seems to work on the Vita (and maybe Victory Road). No Time Soldiers or Search & Rescue, which are my favorites.

Interesting. Talk more.

As I posted in the OT:

Alright, I just got into (and was able to finish) two free-for-all matches. This feels like a mini me black ops and I say that's a good thing. The controls are surprisingly smooth and the framerate is good. It does take some getting used to movement since the draw is so different on the Vita's thumb sticks (this might be something I just need to tweak to my personal taste in the sensitivity settings). I'm glad an "always sprint" option was built in, that was a smart move. The graphics look good to me. Nothing spectacular but definitely an improvement over Burning Skies. The sound of guns firing, overall sound effects, music, activity queues etc. all sound good. The two maps I played were pretty small and made for some cramped, awkward, spawning at times but the smaller map size also created it's own tension that was fun and hectic. Based on everything I'd heard leading up to today I was worried about this game. Now I can honestly say Nihilistic pulled it off. It has it's compromises, but overall I'm impressed to be playing this on a handheld.

So does anybody actually play LittleBigPlanet Vita? I picked up my Vita and a 16GB card last week. Uncharted on "game card" since I figure I'll only revisit it occasionally after completing the story, and LBP from PSN, since it's something I think I should always have with me.

But... It feels like there's nobody online who ever actually lets me join their game, and I only rarely get given the chance to play with anyone else while playing on my own.

Would love to trade some friend requests with some 20-ish aged guys that speak English. Maybe around the northwest US, so connections are always decent. I love the idea of just jumping around through new levels with GAFers jumping in and out at will, but I need some Vita friends, first!

Persona 4 in a week. Can't wait.
