R&C is out at the end of the month and also a cross buy game too :) I don't believe it's a platformer in the usual sense though, I'm sure I read somewhere it's more a tower defence type game... might be wrong though. Also it's going to be pretty cheap £15 on Amazon at the moment.

Tearaway is something that will be VERY special, it's done by Media Molecule exclusively for the Vita, so not some cut down port.

JStevenson said it's mostly a normal Ratchet game as far as how you play it goes (big worlds to explore on foot), it's like quest for booty but longer and it has co-op and MP to enhance the replayability. There is some tower defense mechanic but I don't know how it works.

What I'm wondering is since he confirmed the PS3 version will have a retail disc can I buy that, register the Vita game to my account and trade in the PS3 disc? I don't really have a need for both and since there's only 1 trophy list I'll only be playing it on Vita.

So this is anecdotal but take it as you will -

I live in a town with like 300-400 people. We have a indie game shop and a CEX (UK people will know)

Went into town today and saw;

A guy playing cod on his vita on a bench showing his gf

Parents looking then buying a vita because quote 'it's a playstation isn't it? Our son wants a playstation and he can play this anywhere. Does it have cod? Yes well that's all he wanted on his playstation anyway,

A 20 something guy buying a vita cod bundle along with his limited editin blops 2 because, again quote, 'hey this looks pretty awesome ill practise multiplayer on the train'

So yeah... I haven't seen a single vita in the wild till now.

I don't think it'll have much platforming or puzzles, just areas to explore and a lot more action focused.

I don´t get it.. I played the Beta.. but it has nothing to do with "what I call R&C games".. it´s an online game, and it´s so much more than a normal R&C game.. but maybe there is much more to the game than the beta showed (Or I´m thinking of a different game)

The beta was MP only?

Hope you told them all to buy Mutant Blobs Attack

Hope you told them all to buy Mutant Blobs Attack

"Yes, it has Call of Duty."

"OK great, we'll buy him that."

"But it also has Mutant Blobs Attack."

*blank stare*
"I'll just buy him Call of Duty."

"It ALSO has Mutant Blobs Attack."

*blank stare*

Refuse to sell it to them unless they buy a £10 PSN voucher for Mutant Blobs Attack

That's a bit disappointing. I knew it wasn't going to be a true ratchet game from the start but I didn't expect a SP that's basically a thrown together single player version of MP.

Multiplayer is supposed to be the phoned in mode :(

I know.. I was disappointed by the beta..

Damn, got my hopes up early. Looks like that's just for EU if the guy's Twitter region is anything to go by.

Step your game up, SCEA! Surprise me.

Wow! That's some line up. Guess I'll end up with more games than I expected to get at the start of my Vita experience.

This might sound silly but, I'll be able to put those games into my download list through my PS3 right?

Wow!

Very happy about Uncharted. Did not expect that at all. PS+ proving its' ridiculous value once again.

It also means more people get to play Gravity Rush which is great.

That would be great for me if NA gets those games too. Being able to knock uncharted and gravity rush off of my long list of Vita games to get would be a huge financial help for me.

Wow. If I could feel any worse for buying Gravity Rush digitally. Uncharted would be great though, I haven't played that yet. Unfortunately EU PSplus trumps US PSplus so i'm not expecting that here. More like Little Deviants and Reality Fighters here.
