Nope, but Gran Turismo Vita would certainly give the system an enema. Or a GTA.

Day 1 for Soul Sacrifice though.
God of War Vita would do a lot of good too, after the PSP versions I'm surprised one hasn't been announced as in development already.

Ready at Dawn (the PSP GoW develpers) is working on a next gen project, and Sony Santa Monica is working on God of War: No One Cares for PS3. There might be a teaser for a Vita game in Ascension's box though.

Honestly as much as I liked CoO and GoS, the only reason I'd want a Vita GoW is to help with the sales of the system since I'd rather play on PS3. I much preferred playing those two games via the Origins Collection than when I tried them on PSP. You could definitely tell how much the PSP hardware held back the games.

I'd still buy a Vita version day 1 though

I'm pretty sure there is a GT vita probably not gonna be shown till later on. Sony isn't that stupid lol

Well, this year's VGA's are held at the Sony Pictures studios according to Wikipedia, so I'm expecting some hardcore Sonytons.

yyyeeeessssss first footage from the cut the rope tv show just what i wanted

Seriously though, I wouldn't expect anthing other than trailers for the latest movies from Naughty Dog, and Quantic Dream.

Are there any plans to improve de screen capture function? Maybe to be able to use it on PSP games? Is that even technically possible?

Ok guys, so what do I have to do to get my hard copy saves work for the PS+ digital copies?

I would have thought the digital copy would just be added to the existing bubble, much like DLC. I'm actually more worried about -removing- a digital copy from a bubble while leaving the save intact, if this is the case.

If I'm feeling adventurous I might experiment with Gravity Rush, but I figure someone in here will beat me to it anyway.

I'd love for more original IPs to become long running series on the Vita, for both first and third parties.

As an example, there's the Rune Factory series. All of the main numbered entries have been handheld titles, with the occasional console spin-off. Still playing up the strengths of being a handheld franchise but throwing the console warriors the occasional bone. It's a good compromise!

What I do dislike is the opposite, where a series doesn't know if it wants to be a console series or a handheld one. See: Kingdom Hearts and it's 5 spin-offs but actually important entries in the series.

The show will start with an 8-minute trailer of Polyphony Fukuoka's secret 'PROJECT OMEGA BOOST x GRAN TURISMO®' and an announcement of an exclusive new Gex Vita game. I can feel it in my loins.

I am so puzzled that its not done yet. I mean the console can lock the psp game and zoom out of it when pressing the Home button. It would totally be possible to at least, lock/freeze the game in Vita OS mode and let me take a screenshot in that mode.

There is no reason it shouldn't be possible. The screenshot function is part of the OS, not part of the game and unless the PSP emulator is using more memory and CPU cycles than a dedicated Vita game, there is no reason it shouldn't be supported. It just isn't :(. Hopefully it's just because they need to do something to that part of the OS to work with PSP/PS1 games.

It's probably technically possible, but is it feasible? Sony's screen shot functionality allows developers to opt-out on Vita. Adding this functionality to games that have already been released in a system update doesn't sound like the developer friendly Sony we all know.

While I agree with you in principal and would like that as well, Kingdom Hearts problems go deeper than that. If it stayed with Sony hardware only, or Nintendo only It would have been fine. If it was always multiplat (on handhelds as well) then it would also be fine. You'll get console warriors not wanting to touch a rival platform or other people not wanting to own several different platforms to get the whole picture. Then they just give up as the rest of my family did

Well yeah, I agree with that too. I was just mentioning one aspect that constantly annoys me with Kingdom Hearts, not all of them.

My point was more along the lines of "more handheld franchises with the occasional console spinoff pls" more than anything. We already have enough of the opposite.

At least I'm glad I decided to go with 32GB card. Since I was planning on going mainly all physical(except Ragnarok Odyssey which is Digital only anyway), I wasn't sure whether to get a 16 or a 32. Went for the latter in end mainly for PS1/PSP games I already owned, and the fact I anticipate buying a lot more PSP games.

Now I kinda want a 64Gb...

Awesome news PS Vita+.
Looks like, after all this time, I'm finally going Plus.

Gravity Rush and Mutant Blobs are great, but I've got everything else.

Honestly, I'd have paid just for the online storage/cloud saves.

Kinda disappointed on the SCEE announcements for ps+.
Already have gravity and uncharted.

If they added jet set radio i might subscribed but with only this 2 games it's a no for now.
SCEA really did a good job offering jsr and wipeout.

Maybe that new PR team is finally doing some good work.

I think it's a self-correcting problem. If people want to show off something in a game in an online discussion, devs are doing themselves a huge disservice if they disable screenshots.

Guess they can't satisfy everyone though - I've already bought WipEout and Uncharted, so I'd have been easy either way haha..

Plenty more bonus to come though too. I'll definitely be signing up. 20% discounts will probably be worth a look on launch week too.
