Vita is all loaded up for my flight to Tokyo on Monday!

Might pick up one more PSP game. I am thinking God of War GoS or Liberty City Stories.

So much goodness. Enjoy Alundra as well! Such a fantastic game, best Zelda type game in my opinion. Anyone know how it looks on Vita? I love this game to death, and I should probably rave about it more.

imo every vitabro should have it, far better than the console versions

How so? I heard it has less content at least.

Good to hear on Alundra. I have never played it. Just bought it today.

I wouldn't say it's better than 2 but I'd definitely put it on par with it. In my eyes it's the only Vita game that has fully lived up to "console quality on the go" or whatever the tagline in. Edit: Well maybe Gravity Rush too

Oh, dude. Oh duuude. If you like Zelda type of exploration games with combat and puzzle focus... be ready to play one hell of a great game. Very challenging though with not quite much handholding. Well, there technically IS some ingame help, but you'll see. The games has TONS of secrets though.

Minor secret weapon spoiler:
I love how this game dangles a carrot in front of your nose for the whole game. Almost right after leaving the village for the first time you get to see the strongest weapon in the game on the same screen where you are atm and it takes dozens of hours to get the skills and to find the secret paths to access that area. Haha. Ultimate tease

Alundra looked fine to me when I played a good chunk of it earlier in the Summer.

Yeah, just forgot that its actually a PS1 game, not a PSP game(which I am talking about for a few days now). I guess PS1 games (dont have any on my Vita yet) dont have any kind of scaling/blurring/smoothing effects. Thanks though.

MLB The Show is making my brain hurt. It's hard to understand. I've never played a realistic MLB game before.

Almost forgot about that, want to grab that one too but not sure I'll like BB games. Never played one.

Last baseball game I played. The Show would prolly slay me. =P

I forget who said they wanted a physical copy of wipeout to go with their digital one; if you don't care about the online pass being missing and you're in NA, you can PM me as I have one for sale at a reasonable price. :)

Great to hear! Hope I don't get stuck. Love me some Zelda.

I was real close to picking up at 3DS XL with SM 3D Land and Zelda OoT when I was at best buy with my friend tonight...

SM3D is a very fun and meaty game and I enjoyed replaying OoT masterquest as well. Just had some money to spare? Why decide against it? Not trying to judge, just curious. Probably depends on the games you else want to play on it though. Alundra should scratch that Zelda itch quite nicely at least.

yeah, I saw it was $20 off and I really dug the XL model that was on the floor to play with.

Those are LITERALLY the only two games that interest me on the 3DS right now. Everything else would be DS stuff I haven't played yet like 999 (which is keeping me from buying Zero Escape) and Radiant Historia.

NSMB2 looks just like that last 2 NSMB games I played on the DS and Wii (and got bored with fast), I don't care about Mario Kart, I don't like Pokemon, Paper Mario looks super boring from the Giantbomb quick look...

I just have a hard time supporting it... I feel like I am on another planet when I hear people saying that Nintendo is driving innovation with the 3DS.

I played a 3DS XL a couple days ago, and man I preferred it so much to my regular 3DS. I hate the hardware on the 3DS. The XL was very nice and the bigger screen made it so much easier to enjoy the game. I just can't justify buying it because I don't know if I'd use it enough, and I probably wouldn't make enough money selling my regular 3DS to put a considerable amount into the XL.

Help me vita gaf.

I have 50 on my psn wallet.

Top choices.

Cod (If you just want to shoot things, and have a high focus on MP)
Acl (If you can deal with some bugs and glitches for an AC game that some prefer over AC3 even. Definitely great implementation of AC on a handheld )

Medium:

NSF (Fun game apparently)

Low:

Ragnarok (Grindy, but fun)
P4g (If you like RPG's THIS is the choice to make)

Depends on your focus. If you NEED some console style SP action, then AC:L is your best choice. If you want some MP rounds, COD might fit (although its definitely the worst of the games you mentioned). If you like RPGs at all, P4G is probably a must buy and highest priority.

Yeah, dont worry. I like some games on the console, but I definitely can see your point. Resident Evil Revelations was very good, as were some digital offerings as Pushmo. Looking forward to Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem in a while as well.. Other than that I'll probably just pick up a few of the big RPGs coming out (DQ7).

I mean both consoles have their fair share of fun games, but if its only for SM3D and OoT? Rather tough call. The 3DS will likely be around for ages as well, so no hurt in waiting for another year and picking up more games you might like as purchase reason.

Well I finally decided to sign up. Can't say the PS3 games really do anything for me given I own RE5 on 360, but hopefully the next time they shift games it will be something I'm more interested in.

Honestly only did it for the Vita games. I've owned one since launch and the only game I was willing to spend money on was BlazBlue so this way I will have some quality Vita software even if I don't care for the games overall.

It's fun but nowhere near meaty, especially near the end when stages start to repeat endlessly

Eh, guess that depends on what you consider "meaty content". I really liked the higher challenge level variations of the initial levels. I thought it had quite a lot to do/complete.

If you think the repeated level layout was mainly "lazy" though, I can see you being disappointed and bored by them. Didnt think they were "original" either, certainly provided content though (which I liked to play).

It's too bad Sony never successfully made LittleBigPlanet a "big deal" series. LBPV is pretty much the promise of the Vita fulfilled, but about twenty people own it.

Yep, but without proper marketing outside the game it will never get big. It needs it's tv cartoon, happy meal figures, etc.

Of all the Sony IP it's sad that they aren't pushing for LBP as the saturday morning cartoon.

LocoRoco could work too. Or Ratchet.

I dunno man, Sackboy's pretty freaky

I'm not sure I could've handled it as a kid

My 8 year old niece LOVES sackboys. Those things are cute as hell, I'd gift them left and right if proper merchandise was available.

Nice stuff! If it's your first time through Oath in Felghana enjoy the hell out of it. Also know it's a very short game...that you will probably want to play again on a higher difficulty. Seriously, one of the few games I could call perfect. I wish more games would be this short. Just don't have the time for many 24 hour+ games anymore.

Also good choice on buying P3P. I just started it and it feels right at home on my Vita. The streamlined experience makes it all the better for bite sized chunks. Not the "total garbage" I was expecting lol

My sisters love Sackboy too, it's all what they wanted to play on my PS3. Sackboy Prehistoric Moves.

Mindboggling they havent put out any merchandise sackboys. The best one I found were hobby made by a fan. They looked great but the shipping costs :/

Top choices.

Cod - Seems like a mediocre game at best, and its $50 price doesn't help either.
Acl - The general consensus is that AC3:L is a solid AC game. It seems to have one particularly annoying game-breaking bug though, so I'd advise against it until the game is patched.

Medium:

NSF - Open-world racing game that is very close to the console version. The only problem I have with it is its sub-native resolution.

Low:

Ragnarok - Monster-hunting game with light RPG elements. It seems to have a lot of content, and online co-op is fun.
P4g - I don't know much about this, but it's the highest rated Vita game right now. I did enjoy Persona 3's story and "social link" gameplay mechanic though.
Just stay far away from CoD.

So I guess P4G is my last Vita game for the year. (Excluding whatever comes with plus that I'll sub to in December)

Is anything else coming out?
