Vita PSN Game And Service Thread

New Vita owner, sorry for stupid questions.

I haven't touched my PS3 yet today.

On my Vita, I have put all the six PS+ games so they show in my download list. However, I only have an 8GB card (A 32GB card is being shipped) and thus Wipeout is not going to fit. However, it is still in my download list (just..not being downloaded due to lack of space).

This means it's mine right?

Yep as long as you tag something (you'll see the little icon next to the item) and you stay a + member then its yours to keep forever. Although you'll be digging through your download list that Sony still hasn't bothered to fix even with the new store <_<

Yes, once on your download list, its available to download anytime as long as you are a plus member.

Did you ever get that CMA wifi thing working?
 
I keep getting errors popping up, but things seem to be downloading. Also Playstation Plus is missing its icon - it shows a broken image. Clearly having difficulties loading stuff thanks to tons of vita users simultaneously pressing the download button.

Time to exercise this ol' 4 gb card.
 
Biggest tip for those of you trying out Golden Abyss for the first time.

Gyro aiming is turned on by default. Try it out and see if you like it.
For me, I found it a lot easier to aim and rack up headshots using it compared to fighting with the analogs.
Just think of your Vita screen as looking through the sights of a shotgun/rifle.
 
Excited to play PSO2! So glad it's free as it means I can download it on my Japanese account.

Also it's an entire MMO right? Surely it's gunna be massive file size wise

Gyro aiming is the only way to go.

The default controls honestly suck (dunno if it ever got patched) but Gyro + sticks is amazing for that game.

We'll it plays like PSO, i.e., there's a lobby with a bunch of people but the actual gameplay is all done in instances limited to 4 - 12 players so I wouldn't call it an MMO. The Vita version is the full PC version though and it does have cross platform play with the PC version with some minor limitations (some lobby blocks will be reserved for just PC players). Size wise the PC version is ~8 GB's right now so imagine the Vita version will be a tad smaller than that due to it not using the high res texture models.
 
JSR is a no brainer guys.

Word of warning: Controls can frustrate you in the beginning as you do need to control a skating character quite tightly sometimes. Takes some getting used to..but such a good game. And for the price (compared to what else we've been getting) it's a steal..

really hoping for some more footage, haven't seen anything of it on vita since E3. I heard it wasn't the same as the ps3/x360 versions?

Hope JSR & Sine Mora are running smooth for everyone..let us know of any issues please

I resubbed just for JSR. IMHO it's worth it for all the extra discounts PS+ gets.

BTW, Sine More is a looker on the Vita. I still need to spend extra $10.01 to get ten back. Don't know what to get.
 
So did JSR end up having some trophies that were considered almost impossible to achieve?

I know there was a thread bitching about it when a list was revealed.
 
Coolest hidden feature of the update? Adding a note to the friend request. I loved that when I tried it on Wii U last night and it's so funny/cool that it was just added at the same time that I tried and remarked on how much I appreciated it on Wii U.
 
Jet Set Radio is broke for me. Automatically pauses during gameplay. I hit continue? It pauses again immediately. Don't know what the problem is.

Edit: restarted it. Works fine now.
