Yeah, there doesn't really seem to be any reason not to, if you have the money to spare atm.
Uncharted is a slow starter. They have pacing issues with the beginning of the game (tutorial/touch mini-games overkill), but it gets much better as you progress.
Yes, but what your online experience would be like if you're constantly streaming? I suppose they want to avoid that.
It is pretty quick to download, and once you have a small offline collection, you are good to go. Want to play games? Pick up something from your collection.
Want to browse music? Remember to download your most wanted tracks/albums and maybe give it a few minutes more to finish syncing, while you are listening.
Exactly that is the issue why we'd need it. Some people are very aggressively anti vita and you won't sway them no matter what. However, others are just misinformed, which isn't corrected by just looking at the thread titles popping up on GAF. Its just so sad seeing people popping in here being surprised how good the value actually is, knowing that THIS is the image being portrayed generally.
Definitely worth it. You can probably get it even cheaper by buying PSN cards and using them to get the subscription. The cards are usually sold for a slight discount, at least here.

I would concur. I do hope that PS+ on the Vita gives it some positive momentum. At least in my case I've been very happy with my Vita since day 1.

Agreed. I remember playing the first couple of hours and having to force myself to carry on. By the end I was loving it and went straight through it again on a harder difficulty.
Now I think of it, I haven't finished my Crushing run yet. Nice.

Cheers! Have only played the demo of it so far, so I'm exited to play the full game.
Unfortunately there are people who don't care about the awesome things which have occurred and would only troll for the hell of it.
This thread has been a great place to hangout with other Vitabros and share opinions etc about the vita without being jumped upon.
I do intend to buy Persona 4 eventually, it's just a matter of when...I'll decide for you...buy it!!!
...but I have no willpower. Bought. This better be a fast download because I'm leaving for the airport in a bit.

How do save files work between digital and physical copies? I'm on Chapter 9 of Gravity Rush currently. I put the digital copy into my queue so that I can DL it later, but that and Uncharted both are not going to be downloaded right now (because I have physical copies at the moment). If I start playing the digital copy, will my save files be OK, and can I go between the two without risk of losing data?
Also, how do save files get handled on PSP/PS1 titles? If I remove the game, does that still delete the save file?

I've decided not to go from a 16GB to 32GB in the near future. With the content manager, I'm completely comfortable shelving some games on to my PC if I'm done with them (like I did with Motorstorm over the weekend, and will likely do with Dokoro and Jet Set Radio in the coming months).
Plus, I'm afraid of turning the Vita into my next Steam library, where I just look at the backlog list available and completely break down into tears. Less choice is better.

Holy. Crap. They really don't beat around the bush there... or do they? Lmao. I'm sorry. So sorry >< I hope that game comes out stateside, although I can't imagine anyone could play it in public with no headphones and not be embarrassed.
Sad but true IMO. Everyone piles on the hate and the doom talk but whenever we talk about how great the system is people say we're delusional, that we should stop our praise of it because it's DOOOOOOOOOOOOMEEEDDDD ... I dunno, I've given up at this point with those doom+gloom+sales threads.
I have to say though, lots of my friends+family are getting Vitas now because of this PS+ thing.
Uncharted will get better. First few lvls I didnt really like. Months later I played through three times and got plat lol. Some games just take a little time. Stick with it if you can.
Meh, bad news regarding the NISA sale. Apparently it already started and the items we thought would go on sale today (ZHP, prinny,cladun2...) will be rotated in over the next few weeks. Only Disgaea 4 DLC for this week as far as I can make out.

Just curious but has anyone compiled a list of Vita games coming in 2013? I'm super tempted to dive into the Vita during the black friday/PSN+ party. Just so many of my favorite series on it (Uncharted, Killzone, Lumines, etc..) but it does seem like its on a slow start game release wise (Then again so did the PSP and DS and I loved them both).

Black Friday and/or Craigslist are the best way to dive in. If you're considering it, do it. The price you can get a system and a game or two for is fantastic right now.
Quite a funny story about them trying to use their devkits outside to test it, lol
You can only backup the full digital version of the game including the save game,sadly not exclusively the save game.

wow Gravity Rush is really good, the demo just doesn't do this game justice, we need more unique games like this on the system, great art direction and music, and i'm loving Kat's character, also the comic strips are a nice touch, kinda feel guilty for not picking this game up now.

So my brother texts me as says he got sick of BLOPS2 and put on the original MW1 for his PS3. Then at unison, we both text each other and said "How cool would it be to have this game on the Vita". This is one cash grab from Activision that I would gladly throw my money at ..
