This is great, bought and downloaded sine mora today, but is just the demo... they charged my credit card, transaction manager shows the payment for the game, but i can´t download the damn full game, just the demo.

Fuck.

By suggesting some more games to buy?

Of course, I still need to spend $10.01 more to get $10 back on december :)

I was thinking on finally picking that GR DLC + some tables for TPA. Though I feel GR DLC will be free for PS+ members :/

You don't have a key on your DL list? There's no full version, just demo + unlock key.

I guess none of you guys can compete with Dcharlie in the amount of games that he buys :D

Not one of you who listed the games bought AC3:L?

me o/
I guess i have 3 retail games. usually my retail games are imports, The rest is digital, 10 or more games if i'm not mistaken.
Never bought so much games on the first year i got a new gaming console.

Sooooo, Gravity Rush, Mutant Blobs, Chronovolt and Sine Mora now waiting on my Vita to be played... Also grabbed the Jet Set Radio demo to see what all the fuss is about.

No idea where to start haha..

Awesome week for the Vita.

Alright game impressions!

FNyEq.jpg

Those were the games that I grabbed during the buy/dl spree yesterday. I took my time yesterday night to put some hours into Persona 4, and played the first hour or so of every other game.

Impressions! (If anyone cares)

Uncharted
Well its definitely nice to look at although not even close to being the best looking game on Vita, and despite others saying it has a "slow" start, I actually liked the beginning already. You could even play it a bit stealthy (which I liked), no lengthy UC3 exposition necessary either. What I really like about the game though, is how it probably will make you find hidden passages for collectibles (I doubt you'll find them along the way). Also I am unnaturally attracted to every photo mode feature in games. I know I'll enjoy finding those spots and getting the photographs right. :) Nice surprise there, didnt know about that before. They also did a neat job of integrating the "you found a card" messages for the upcoming card game into the game. Definitely motivating. The gyro aiming works surprisingly well too. Considering I thought that this is just a short interlude that I wouldnt be busy with for a while, this is mighty surprising. No doubt I'll enjoy this a lot.

Persona 4 Golden

This game... I have no doubt that this game will land on most peoples Vita GOTY lists on #1. The base game is already terrific, addicting and compared to all the other games very original as well. Since there is a notorious RPG drought for Vita games, it doesnt even have any competition to sweep aside, but I am sure it would still come out on top. Someone else mentioned its not native Res or with AA, which is a bit disappointing, but I dont mind that actually. Soundtrack is still as infectious as ever, and the new features they included seem to be interesting as well (dont want to spoil them here). Some really surprised me. Other than that, I want to grind the shit out of this game, cant wait to play again once I am done writing this post. Oh yeah, and also I cant stop making screenshots during the cutscenes for my Vita wallpaper collection...

Wipeout 2048
Oh my god. This game is probably the sexiest game on Vita. Tons of content through the DLC, looks great, plays nice - seems like one of the strongest titles on the console. Havent played much yet, other than the first level, but I WILL try to kick some scores on my friends leaderboard. :p Only downside are those HORRIBLE loadtimes. Although I LOVE the screenshot mode where you can freely zoom around and tinker around with some image settings:

Sine Mora

Amazing artstyle, together with Wipeout among the best looking games on the console. Havent dipped much into the story yet, but apparently there are quite a few things to unlock. Looking forward to some highscore runs and diving into the story later as I heard that many people seemed to like the story/characters. I love unlocking stuff in these games so, so that game seems to be a good purchase.

Jet Set Radio
Its not far from the original. The art style lends itself very well to the OLED and soundtrack still is as good as ever. There are some minor drawbacks, like some obvious 90's gamedesign stereotypes and some rather antiquated graphical effects.
Other than that, it still looks surprisingly nice. The style holds up surprisingly well, but I probably wont play JSR anytime soon with P4, UC and Wipeout on my Vita currently.

HISTORY Egypt Engineering an Empire
The odd one out on this list. Its a PS Mini I think? I was looking for some strategy games and this one seemed to fill the niche nicely. Its not the most aesthetically pleasing game, but it still has a surprising amount of depth. Gameplay can sort of compared to a simplified Civilization without the "tile effects" that you work on. You build different buildings in your city that give you bonusses for units, gold income, city inhabitants etc, and then send them out to conquer the enemy cities. I'll delve into that a bit more in depth at a later point, definitely scratching a certain strategy itch though. It was cheap too, like 4$ or something?

No Heroes Allowed & What did I do to deserve this my Lord 2

Man. Where WDIDTDTDTDML 1 fails in motivating the player, these 2 follow up games start getting "gamey". They added some other elements that made it even more strategic (like under water creatures, more heroes, more hero abilities etc.) and one notable change is that your monsters now effectively change depending on how they are dying. If your monsters die from starvation, their "race" will adapt and get slightly different stats than when they die from being defeated by heroes for example. That is a really neat mechanic. Other improvements include a Badman room mode that allows to play around without time pressure and a proper "story mode" where you have challenges on a world map, which his definitely gives a better feeling of accomplishment than just a single row of challenges. The first game is definitely still worth it, but most players are probably fine with just buying No Heroes Allowed, since it has more content and is just the overall better balanced game. It even includes lower difficulty settings, which is very welcoming for new players. Other small improvements should be mentioned here too, like finally being able to see which monsters carry nutrients and a screenshot mode (!!!) (you know, the thing the Vita cant do on PSP games):

Meh, bad news regarding the NISA sale. Apparently it already started and the items we thought would go on sale today (ZHP, prinny,cladun2...) will be rotated in over the next few weeks. Only Disgaea 4 DLC for this week as far as I can make out.

Thanks for the information Toma. Will check what is on sale next week. Definitely buying ZHP, Prinny and Disgaea 1,2,Infinite and 3 :P

Downloaded the full version of Sine Mora using my PS3 and it still turns out to be the trial version, come on now Sony. This has been taking up my whole evening. Time to contact support I suppose :^(((

Where is my award for writing the longests posts no one asks for btw? :p

You're not brilliant enough for people to pay attention to.

Hey, I didnt say anything about writing BRILLIANTLY. I just want my spam award. Being good at something is.. something!

So much juggling when you have a 4GB memory card,fuck...but for now this keeps me from going nuts and buying too much stuff lol... ;)...I refuse to pay 100 bucks for a 32 GB card,it's the principle but a 8 GB one would sure be fine...

So I desperately want a dungeon crawler on the Vita, but I'm not digging SH: BoM's style at all. I played the demo of Dungeon Hunter: Alliance and I was really digging it despite peoples' gripes against it. If it goes further on sale (currently at like 27$ on Amazon), do you guys think it's worth it? Sigh I hope they didn't can that Warrior's Lair game ._.

Careful what you wish for bro, don't want a bad tag now :p

any mods here Carl needs a tag related to mutant blobs attack

So you guys using the activity feed more now? On the Friends LiveArea. Much easier to see and use now. Find myself seeing what my friends are doing and liking/commenting on stuff. You should definitely use it more :)

My Vita told me that evening that I didn't have room to download the JSR Demo. I am a 32gb'er. True story.

I deleted uncharted since I got the plat already.

I gave customer services a call myself earlier, unfortunately the agent on the phone had no information available on the issue.. which didn't come as a surprise.

But while on the phone I made sure to confirm the original purchase and proceeded to download/purchase the full game title again from the store page.

Once the agent could see that my account had been charged on two occasions, she agreed to issue a refund [which is sill in progress].

I hope this helps.

Yeah,I actually enjoyed it on the PS3...I mean it's not Diablo II or the console Baldur's Gate but it does the job of being a mindless hack and slash dungeon romper :P

Sine mora is YOPO?

Demo was ok, but I didn't like the bullet hell bits and ran out of Slomo time too quickly. The other segments felt like my kind of old school shmup

Fuck, looks like i´m not the only one

I guess i shouldn't buy sine mora for now until we know if this situation is fixed. And i guess this only affects the eu update?

Works fine for me. I got it from the UK store.

I guess we bought it at exactly the wrong time, while they were still monkeying about with the store. Just fired off an e-mail to support, hope I will get some kind of response soon.

Hmm, that doesn't really sound promising. I hope they can simply refund my money, so I can re-buy it succesfully.

Don't think i'll ever 100% Smart As... Some of these games i can't even get passed Easy, let alone up to Genius >.<

Don't think I'll ever get to play it. Unless I get it for 50% off to free. Too bad really, I might want to check it out, but I still consider the price too much.

Persona 4

...and these:

A memcard would be nice too :p
.

32gb on the motherfucking waaaaay!!!!

And yes ill even try out p4 never ever played any of them before though. Oh and metal gear solid hd already on the way too.

Jesus so many games! Wtf are people smoking!!!

Some of the words is asks you to spell are ridiculous. Never heard of half of them, lol.

I got it for free but think it's a pretty good price :)

Im sorry if you guys miss me but ive been playing games.

Im about half done with uncharted.

I can definitely understand ppl saying this is the best uncharted. The story is kinda unintriguing though, but the gameplay feels more solid.

Nope. The PS3 and Vita versions are apparently too different to be YOPO (PS3 version has an exclusive challenge mode I believe).

Yeah I really just want a portable dungeon crawler to scratch that itch.. I really enjoyed the demo but at launch the game was like 40$, which is insane. If it gets a bit cheaper for the holidays I think I'll jump at it.
