Those persona shots...

Maybe I should import it instead of waiting :/

Well I think you have enough to play for the moment ;) How much would you pay for the import, though?

And you could use one of my wallpaper shots in the meantime! :P

Just got my Tales of Graces F platinum, so I think I should give my PS3 a break. Besides I feel it's time to pick up the Vita again.

What say you Vitabros? Do I finish AC: Liberation (still on sequence 2), or do I play 999, and then import VLR and get back to Liberation later?

Do liberation first. 999 and vlr a re pretty long games.

Finish 999 while you import VLR. Then make a break of puzzle solving after 999 with AC:L and go back to VLR once you are done with AC:L!

That is valid reasoning too, but Liberation might take me just as long to "complete" as VLR. Platinumed VLR after 33 hours and after half of AC, I am at 16 hours or something.

Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I don't want to get burned out on puzzle games by playing 2 in a row. So yeah I'll probably play 999, then Liberation, and then VLR. And I'm not gonna platinum Liberation, Mutiplayer trophies have seen to that.

I was considering getting New Little King Story very soon about a month ago. At this rate it'll be next year before I even consider it again

First world problems and all that..you know what annoys me? If a game has these "buy DLC!" messages on the live area or ingame despite me already owning said DLC. Case in point, Frobisher Says with that HUGE banner. I want to feel good about getting rid of these, damnit.

Meh, i don't have a problem with that. Nice way for developers to bring attention to the extra content for their game. I especially don't mind when it's made by an indie studio and it's completely free.

Hah. Marvel 3's live area hasn't updated in a year and it's still "OMG JILL/SHUMA OUT BUY NAO!"

Well I already supported them by buying the DLC. Why still have it there? Not like they can advertise anything else to me. In fact, it would be MORE useful for them to deactivate the banner if I already have it, so they can use the banner again once they have new DLC and I go "Ah, live area updated!". Otherwise I just ignore the banner, even if there is new DLC.

They can use it again for new DLC anyway...

Yeah, but that way I wont notice because its always there. If its gone when there is no DLC for me to buy, I'd at least notice when something changes.

Not only that, but after a while I ignore things that are meaningless for me. So if they ever did, update the banner, I'd still be in the habit of tuning them out and wouldn't notice the new content

How would that be solved by removing the banner when you bought it though?

If there's nothing on the LiveArea you will get used to there being nothing there of interest, the same as you would do if the banner stayed there.

trying to find a match in the PSAS Vita version is like waiting at the DMV. havent got into an online match yet.

That doesnt sound nice, others having these issues as well?

Think I'd prefer it if the live area just said 'Content X now available' - if you have it, it takes you straight in to it, if not, it takes you to the Store. Part ad, part handy shortcut.

But yeah, ads for stuff I already have really pisses me off. It's annoying enough in game (especially when the whole point of the LiveArea is that it's hooked into the game, so devs could easily set it to update when it recognises you've bought it), but on the new Store it drives me mad. Having to go past two whole screens on which I own everything, when the Store bloody well knows that is such a waste of time and space that would better be spent advertising me something else.

You sure it isn't your NAT? PS3 version is fine?

Because Black Ops has issues with getting into matches due to NAT as well it seems.

Hey if there's nothjng there to tune out, then I'll notice when something suddenly is there. Anyways it doesn't reallh matter. I'm not that bothered.

Besides I'll always know what new content I want before it ever goes live. I'm the opposite of an impulse buyer. Need to do my research first :P

I cannot figure out what the blue pointer is for when holding the triggers in the web browser. It used to let you highlight text but that doesn't seem to work now. Anybody know?

Vita PS+ strikes again!

I so hope that this made an impact on the next monthly sales update. Definitely not in jp though with their only ps+ game being Sumioni -_-

You can "precise click". Use the pointy end to navigate to a link you want to click if you cant hit it with your finger.

So, how am I going to see hidden text on GAF now?

I am a massive idiot, by the way.

Had £40 sitting in my bank account waiting for a £20 cheque to clear tomorrow so i'd have £60 total - this was to be spent on a 32GB memory card.

Anyway, as i'm a complete idiot, i forgot i had preordered PSASBR on Shopto - so they took the money out of my account. I preordered and paid for the game off PSN already >.< Now i have to wait for the sodding game to come so i can send it back to get a refund so i can afford to buy a 32GB.

So now i'll probably be waiting til mid next week for my card.

SIGH

Music Unlimted is just broken for me. Every time I start it up it just says can't connect to server. I rebooted the vita, deleted and installed it again, nothing. It was working fine before I got the discounted subscription.

Same here. I can't login on my laptop either.
An error has occurred that requires Music Unlimited to be restarted. Please restart Music Unlimited.
When it doesn't do that, it'll just send me to the Japanese site for some reason.

It only worked once for me. WTF is this.

For those of you with PS+ who just downloaded wipeout and found long-loading times, they released lots of updates to improve it..are you sure it's updated?

Yeah, I've played it. Still own JSRF too. Was just curious because I heard there was hitching on the console ones.

It's very fun and looks/plays great, nice graphics, good loading times. Few technical issues I've run into: various crash causing bugs like 3 times (separate from the initial loop bug everyone gets). A rare loading area bug...

Expect to crash a few times :P I had a weird level glitch happen....I really wanted to win the race...and jumped into a new area too fast or something.

Lastly there is noticeable popup (textures), not always obvious..but sometimes really obvious - doesn't happen with cars or people but environment.

Gotta say, having shitloads of fun with it though and as much as I was impressed by Uncharted (thanks PS+), which I will get back to..it's hard to get away from JSR despite restarting the app for the 4th or 5th time !

Uncharted is fantastic, loving almost everything about it and got into it right off the bat and played for like 10 chapters with barely any sleep.

Damnit both Best Buys in my area were out of 16 and 32gbs.

If you do find a Best Buy with them in stock make sure they price match amazon.

Unlimited was acting up for me last night, I think the servers are getting hammered from the price drop.

30 day trial btw.

Anyone have experience with error NP-2244-2? I put in a new credit card to hop sign up for PS+ but now I can't seem to get past that error. I even tried adding different credit cards and making the purchase on the PS3 but I still get stopped by an error at the end.

Some new PSO2 Beta details were posted on Bumped today.

PSO2 Vita Releases Feb 28th, 2013 And Closed Beta Test in January

Today SEGA has officially announced they will be releasing the Japanese Vita version of Phantasy Star Online 2 on February 28th, 2013. In addition, there will be a Closed Beta Test starting mid January 2013.

Along with the release, PSO2 Vita will also be sold separately in a “SPECIAL PACKAGE” which includes several bonuses players can redeem. Just like the Windows PC version, PSO2 Vita will be Free to Play and Free to Download. The game will be supported through “Cash Items” players can optionally purchase. The PSVita version can play on the same servers as the PC version and will also share the same play data.

In mid January, the Vita version will have its own Closed Beta Test where players will be selected to participate. Recruitment will take place through the PlayStation Store from your PlayStation Vita. Signups will start sometime early December. More details about the signup process will be revealed in the future.

On February 28th, 2013, players can optionally purchase the PSO2 Vita Special Package version which includes several bonuses as listed below.

JP PSN betas usually require you to "purchase" a free item from the PS Store to enter your name in a lottery. 4Gamer seems to be confirming that this will be the case for this beta.
