Yes,AC3:L was a real AC experience (and better than AC3).

I dunno, they're both disappointing (but still good) in their own ways.

I'm finding the outfit gimmick more annoying than inventive in Liberation than anything else (even the frame rate) currently

Quoted for new page... I haven't bought the game yet because I've been hoping for Vita remote play for it...

No, I don't believe Journey supports Remote Play.

When will it start exactly? Any sense in watching a stream or something?

December 3rd at 16:30 JST.

It appears there will be a live stream on this page. If you want to watch it is up to you. I wouldn't expect any announcements though.

I liked the outfit system,it fit the assassin theme.

I thought AC2 Revelations and AC3 were complete trash to be honest,I really hated the Desmond and First Civilization plot (and Ancient Alien hidden agenda)bullshit so very much, so AC3:L was kinda back to the right track for me.

It's funny that Dishonored was a better AC game than all of them,it just focus on pure assassinations and let you enjoy it and that what ACR/AC3/AC3:L needed to do but sadly don't.

Revelations wasn't too bad, just too short and the bombs pretty much redundant outside of the poison bomb or smoke bomb since those were the only two super useful ones.

But the multiplayer is where those games are saved from a pretty weak singleplayer. Liberation doesn't have that, just a "tap your node and attack" thing. :/ I really wanted 4 vs 4 (since that's the max of the multiplayer on consoles) manhunt on the go. I mean, shit, 4vs4 isn't CoD but they did it, why couldn't Ubisoft? :/

I have some PS1 games I've been playing on my PS3. To get them to my Vita, do I have to redownload them (those "bubbles") or can I just transfer them directly? What about the save files? Thanks.

You need bubbles, not sure about the savegames.

Save Files are content manager assistant and have to be in the data utility of the PS3, IIRC.

I'd prefer a normal price but steady progression (no disadvantage of using items).

I wondered what you were talking about here, then I saw the no. of crystals required to upgrade the items compared to what I was making each game, ouch. Kind of agree with you. To be fair though if it wasn't free I don't think I'd ever have touched it in the first place..

Just wanted to ask, is there gonna be an OT for Uncharted: Fight for Fortune?

No one mentioned doing one so far, feel free to do so if you want.

Yeah, and the success they have with this title clearly speaks in favor of the model they chose. I'd have preferred a normal non-f2p puzzle game that I can play at my leisure and without ridiculous grinding spikes though.
Still nice to see that so many enjoy it :)

So, I've just platinumed Gravity Rush. My first Vita platinum! Hugely enjoyable, what a little gem of a game.

Congrats ! this was my first vita platinum as well. Loads of people have platinumed GR. It's becoming like the time when i got my first platinum in AC II only to discover it was the most platinumed ps3 game ever 8(

The lack of multiplayer can probably simply be attributed to not enough TIME. They can be forgiven this time but if no proper MP in next vita AC. There will be an uproar.

The game is called AC. If it had your suggested mechanics. it would be Dishonored

Sony ran interviews with a bunch of Japanese games people on their site who would be at the awards ceremony. They asked every single one of them about Vita ... except the Monster Hunter people. I guess Sony already knew the answer to that.

Anything interesting come out of these interviews ?

Nah, it'd be called:

Assassin%27s_Creed_cover.png

Which focused plenty on pure assassinations before 2 and onward started getting sidetracked. Though 2 and Brotherhood still had plenty of that, 3 is the big offender with the most fun thing in the game (naval battles) not exactly being the most Assassin-like thing to be doing.

Double assassinate near a ship, go through the ship and get stuck in the bayou and ship. GG Ubisoft. :/ Maybe I should wait for that patch after all...

The Original AC game was purely focused on story and by an extension the assasinations. As most of the main story was gotten from the long as death scenes for each one of your targets. The side missions in AC1 usually involved getting more information on your current target( eavesdropping, interrogation, pickpocketing). I think the feedback was there needed to be more gamey elements to it hence the plethora of collectibles and extra side bits for ACII. Trophies might also have had an effect on this. Overall i agree that the original AC game is probably the closest we'll ever get to the original designs intentions for what makes an AC game 8)

Probably a good idea to wait for the patch. There is a lot of stuff that can break the game. See screenshot thread for some nice examples 8)

Falcom, Square Enix, Gust, Atlus, and Koei-Tecmo all expressed interest in making Vita games. Whether that interest turns into a tangible product remains to be seen.

All these companies seem to already be making games for the vita. Square made 2 of the greatest psp games of all time(KH: BBS and FF:CC) quite frankly i want more than a HD version of Final Fantasy X. It seems like wishful thinking but would also like a brand new exclusive persona game for vita. Sony needs to start throwing money at these people 8)

I had to stop playing this because of glitches and bugs like that; I just have no patience for consistently buggy game play... I like the game though and I'll try again after the patch is released.

Sony ain't got no money though.

For the games you buy the carts for, do they still take up a ton of your memory stick? Know lot of folks are going straight digital so those 4gb cards are useless, but if I stick to alot of the actual game carts, will I be fine or do they have crazy installs and save sizes?

You'll be fine I think. Only problem could be patches. For example Hot Shots Golf had a 250mb patch.

If you're going retail you'll be fine with a 4GB card. I think LBP has the largest save at like 30MB or something.

Persona 5 needs to be on Vita. These games are so much better on portables.

And cel-shaded please.

I'm sure Persona 5 will be on Vita ... eventually.

The same way P4 focused on a media like television, P5 should be about the Internet and social networks. The possibilities and gameplay ideas are endless.

I was just thinking this the other day actually. It would make a ton of sense to have it set against a backdrop of social networking and stuff.

Perhaps they could even revisit the idea of spreading rumours from Persona 2 and impose that on microblogging sites. Or even create their own network within the game as one way of communicating with people, they could really go down some really interesting paths and explore some unique themes.

semi-ninja'd by yourself..

I've never played .hack, but iirc it was based on the MMORPG genre right ?

I'm thinking more about something like the Midnight Channel mixed with the previous Persona rumours system. Also it would allow some multiplayer features.

.hack was an offline MMO.

If that makes any sense.

CyberConnect2 everybody.

Front Mission 3 kinda did that. I don't think it would be too hard for Atlus to do a fake internet, but it's a LOT of work to pull off.

Are there any good deals on a 32GB card? I see Amazon when up to $90 now. Cheapest I could find is Walmart's website for $81, but they are sold out.

Closest thing is Buy 1 get 50% off all games and accessories going on and Toys R Us in US.

Anybody have the Sony Pulse Elite Edition headset that came out recently?

Apologies to kerrak and Toma for taking so long with my chess moves. Done with Uncharted now so I'll hopefully be a little quicker (although I still spend large parts of my weekdays without any wireless access).

Put in wipeout today after a long stretch of not racing. Wow game is still so good. Even online people dont vote combat everytime, pure bliss. P4G finally came in the mail the other day. Ready to finally finish that game. Launch ps3 died before I could beat it years ago. Wish lost odyssey sequel would come for vita.

lol, no problem! Just take your time. Chess is a game of patience for me anyway :)

What other system can they port it to for full price a couple years later?

The handheld that Atlus put Shin Megami Tensei 4 on that is region locked(which will be perfect for Atlus region locking bullshit).

As for Dragon's Crown I have a feeling it will be for the HD twins and Vita version will get cancelled.

again..this is just my "feelings" seeing how Atlus rolls these days.

highly doubt it.

I'm not even sure if Dragon's Crown will stay on Vita,Atlus interests seems completely different on what it was a year ago .
Speaking of Dragon's Crown, it did pop up on that one XBLA list a few months ago that ended up having a bunch of unannounced games being true... not everything was true(yet), but it looks like a large majority were spot on. I can try to find this list if you want.

What other platform would Persona 5 go on? It's clear that it'll be an HD game, and 3DS is too weak to handle that. P4G on Vita was the best selling Persona re-release ever so I don't see why they would change up a winning combination.

you didn't heard of the infamous P3P abomination?

Atlus can port P5 to 3DS even it it turn to be a PS4 game.

so I don't see why they would change up a winning combination

let me tell you a story about a boy called Capcom-kun and his Monster Hunter winning combination.

As a new PS+ member I downloaded Gravity Rush even if I didn't like the demo...what can I say ? The demo is really bad imho because of its lack of health bar and gravity bar (I thought at first the game was really piss easy). The actual game is awesome.

ios and android(lol) devices

atlus pls

Atlus is barely active in the mobile space. They license out their IPs to create GREE abominations.

PS2 and PSP were a lot closer in hardware capabilities than I imagine 3DS and PS3 are.

Not the same companies, not the same situation.

Many demos are really misleading or just poor and do more harm than good, not sure why devs change many things in the demos or give you just combat heavy ones.
