SOTN works. You just need a PS3 to transfer.

oh I know that one it's on my vita, though I just downloaded it from the store (NA), didn't need to transfer, it's massive 300mb doesn't do much to my 4gb card though, now if all the others were available my card would be full of ps1 games lol

PlayStation Awards tonight:

It appears there will be a live stream on this page. If you want to watch it is up to you. I wouldn't expect any announcements though.

Wha...? I've never heard of any of these games. Are these Japanese PS1 releases?

PS1 Imports I imagine.

Guys is the 3G vita still a huge scam

Lol yeah, I have a 4G Vita. It's called my sexy white Wi-Fi Vita + my phone as a hotspot.

funny thing is if the ps2 version never existed I have no doubts that p3p would be praised as one of the best games on the psp. Did it make compromises compared to the ps2 version yes. Is it a bad game for it heck no.

Yep. I've played both, and I enjoy P3P more than P3 or P3:FES. Maybe it's because P3P was my first Persona experience. However when you look at what Atlus had to work with there's no way the PSP version could have been like the PS2 version.

I dunno, they're both disappointing (but still good) in their own ways.

I'm finding the outfit gimmick more annoying than inventive in Liberation than anything else (even the frame rate) currently

I must be the only gamer on GAF who doesnt care about framerate. Yes, moments where it does slow down, but not to a point of stutters, screen tearing or slow motion. Aveline is still agile and the game still floors me. New Orleans is full of detail and nicely populated. Its unreal what is being rendered on a handheld, the overall scope is astonishing. Im not so particular, that I pick apart the medium, brandishing the accomplishment of what im experiencing as moot - consider the hardware, I say. Id give it a solid 8.5/10

Im not pointing you out, just using your comment as a motor for my generalities...

Which ties into NGS+, fantastic game - solid, through and through. The game is locked at 30 FPS and runs like butter. Ryu animates and moves as nimbly as he ever has - in native resolution, too! but...GAF Vita owners have contorted the impressive game, into some phantomesque shadow of a subpar framerate jank experience. totally not. Id never know the difference if someone didnt tell me.

Which leads to a prevalent negative smear on some groundbreaking experiences. Even a couple short years ago, these games would have seemed as implausible as anything could on a handheld. We should be applauding Tecmo and Ubisoft for attempting to deliver games of sizable quality and scope. Not pared down or half assed cash ins, but games that do the platform justice.

Are they perfect? No. Are they for everyone? No.

but sure as shit, theyre trying best on mobile hardware to be excellent. I suppose I understand what a Vita is, while still being able to appreciate quality when acknowledging limitations. NES was the era I began gaming (31), Im spoiled and excited to see where gaming has come from, to where we are. mindblown. If only my childhood Gameboy toting self then, could have known the Assassins Creed Liberation of today.

just venting - sorry Vitamuffins :(

Obviously I prefer 60 over 30 (or worse) but it's case by case for me. AC3:L had a pretty bad framerate at times, for sure. I never had an issue with NG Sigma Plus, though, and people seem to think the 30 makes it the worst port of all time or something.

Hi Gaf,
today i ordered my new vita, but there was no memory cards in stock.
Can I still buy games (or purchasing a membership to PlayStation Plus) on PSN or browse internet without it?

Thx

I know you can buy the games via PSN without memory cards (just buy and not download)...I assume you can browse the internet as well?

You can "buy" games but of course it won't let you download and play them since you have no memory card. Yes you can browse the internet without a memory card. As well as play around with the pre-installed apps like welcome park and the trophy, group chat, etc apps alike.

This post may certainly be random, but I want a Vita port of Awesomenauts.

Gravity Rush down.

If you have PS+ you should really check this one out.
Congratulations dude! :)
I'm at episode 9 and I wondered...
So i'm in this inferno rift plane and found a rare nevi, can I return later or do I have to fight him now? I'm having trouble beating the basterd :P

To put it in a very general way, there's not a single missable trophy in this game. That really helps to make it a fun one to plat. But what you asked about specifically,
I would stay away from the rare nevi completely until later in the game when you've upgraded and unlocked everything. They can be a real bitch to take down.

Just dropped my Vita. I was picking it up and the charger cable snagged against a chair and it fell! Landed on a bunch of cables I've been neglecting to pack away. If that's not divine proof that being a procrastinator is sometimes a good thing then I don't know.

In other news, not getting the love Super Mario 3D Land gets. half way though and I've been bored since the 2nd world. Maybe the plumber's charm is just not working on me :/

I actually stopped playing at that point heh. This was a good few months back though.
Need to get back into it.

Thanks! In that case i'm staying away as far as I can from that thing, for now :P

In other news, those challenge's are way more fun then expected.

Oh god, I remember that one.
It absolutely kicked my ass, and up until that point I was breezing through the game. I got so pissed that I kept trying until I beat it before I moved on.

Took me an hours worth of retrys.

As for mario just power through it, there's a point which I won't spoil where it gets utterly fantastic.
