The analog sticks feel really awkward in NGS+. It's like every movement I make occurs an uncomfortable fraction of a second after the initial input.

Terrible camera, terrible touch controls, terrible aiming. Thankfully, DOA5+ will be more than acceptable atonement for this grievous sin...

Y'know, I doubt that.
But I'm not the DoA5 fan.
So it makes no difference to me.
However, for your sake, let's hope I'm wrong, because I know how much you wanted DoA5 on your Vita.

disagree. I found no lag or control problems. the camera is no more problematic than it was before.

Same, I honestly couldn't deal with the dumb jump mechanic. Beautiful game, but the stupid "you can't move while you jump" mechanic feels broken.

No you don't. I did that and didn't get it. :(

Also I've been everywhere in New Orleans that says there's a Jeweler to charm and can't find the last one, it isn't popping up on my map. WTF, don't tell me the game glitched AFTER the patch to not give me the last one? It's what's stopping me from getting Persona collector.

I'm guessing you've never played old-school platformers where the "you commit to a jump, you see it through" mechanic Prinny takes comes from?

Yeah, it's kinda stupid and it's a make or break thing for the game, but it isn't broken. It's a throw back to those old 80's era platformers.

Just downloaded the Wake-Up Club update and there's some great new themes: Toro, Tokyo Jungle and Journey. (Been using the app on HK account.)

beyond that it's far more realistic... I mean I don't know about you but if I jump I can't magically change the direction of my jump :P

Maybe use this map and try to find the missing one.

I feel the same way, which is weird because I really liked Ghouls and Ghosts on PSP. By the third or fourth level it just became fucking infuriating, and wasn't terribly fun. And I'm someone who likes Super Meat Boy.

That was the one I was missing, but it isn't at the edge of the plantation like that map states, it's on the building
where you charm the person you assassinate thinking they're the "company man" in sequence 5-8
in the plantation.

Persona Collector gained. Leaves the side quests and pickpocketing 5000 frances and then hanging someone. D:

it's how i justified it to myself when I was playing prinny... it's odd but once you accept it and adjust it works well enough. the final boss was super tough though, I can't recall if I beat them.... I know I didn't beat the final boss in 2 :/

Get to max infamy/whatever with the Assassin Persona. Bribe the guy that brings it back to neutral. Pickpocket him for the money you just bribed him with. Repeat once more. Ding~

Yeah, the map couldn't fit in the full plantation map so it just does that to tell you that the collectible is there.
Good to see you found it and that it wasn't a glitch.

I've only seen the Magistrates want you to pay 500 france to them?

lol, well i don't have problems with control "quirks" like that if the game is designed around it. it's a game, after all, and it has to define its own rules. you'll always run into trouble once you start expecting games to behave in certain pre-conceived ways.

I bagged on it based on the demo.
The demo convinced me it was not worth $20.
I got it as B2G1 w/ Uncharted (to sell) and Gravity Rush (to keep).
I played it and got a platinum before dumping it. MP was serviceable, but I could see the complaints as valid. It was much better than the demo let on. It's why I'm not surprised that people who are buying and playing Declassified aren't totally down on it.

Do you not have a pet knife wielding demon penguin... odd.. I thought they were common... I have 2 of them (well two and a half... one was turned into a case for my psp)

Things aside though it was just the it works like real life for jumping that got me to easily adjust to the jumping mechanics. Once you accept them they work well enough.
 
Yup, all the Patapons are around the same price as well. Will pick them up when I have a dearth of things to play (no idea when this will be).

I'd love a native res Patapon on Vita. Or Locoroco for that matter, it's crazy that we haven't seen one on Vita.
