I still haven't done that, and I started Chapter 2 in both the PS3 and PSP2 versions.![]()
If I go sell my copy of LBP Vita and get the digital version does my progress transfer or am I going to have to replay everything?
MGS HD Vita is tempting, but if I remember the file size correctly I'd rather just get the physical version.
That's amazing!
STOP MAKING ME LOOK BAD!![]()
HOLY FUCK THAT LOOKS GOOD

Happy holidays, Vita-GAF.
NGS+ is the only real action game on the market, and while I agree with you completely, as I don't think the game is worth $35 at 30fps to start with, I think with NGS2+ coming, they *really* need the discount on the first title to help drum up some interest. Will they do it though? My instinct says no, though they could discount it this week or next week (but they won't permanently until NGS2+ releases and even then, it's not a given.)
Please buy Unit 13
It's not folklore, alundra or gurumin,so there you go.MAG and SOCOM4 were really horrible,I'm afraid to even think about this one (since it's the game that killed Zipper),heck I don't even want to touch the demo with a stick..that what MAG and SOCOM did to me so don't blame me.
but if anyone in this thread can tell me why Unit 13 is actually decent and not bad like than MAG and SOCOM4 I will listen.
The CODI was thinking, in the ps3 store why are vita screens so shit?
I mean I know why but to any casual guy he will see them and be like what the fuck
It's not folklore, alundra or gurumin,so there you go.

any impressions?
That is very Interesting..If it's a mix of Alice 2/Saints Row and Batman AA then I will bite.
You know it's a shooter right?
Ok,unit 13 is good as a pick up and play shooter,it has bite sized missions(30+) all of which are very fun, daily new online missions(challenges),nice co-op and the player's main objective is to increase his score.SmokyDave has WRC3 i think.our UK/Europe VitaGAF sisters

They add guns in WRC3? woooha.

I really feel this one didn't get the credit it deserved.
Was it because of the bad joo-joo affliated with Zipper?
Vita launch title?
Doomed hardware?
It came off as generic dudebro at first glance?
I'm sure all of the above and many more.
That being said, it really is unfortunate as it's been a big highlight in my portable gaming experiences. The combination of solid controls, a fantastic core gameplay loop, and just being in constant glee at the concept that I was playing a full-on 3rd person/cover shooter, complete with twin-sticks!
I was fucking playing The Club in the palm of my hands! Whenever and wherever I wanted.
People talk shit and complain that too many handheld titles are just trying to replicate a console-like experience. Here's a game that does the complete opposite and absolutely thrives at small burst gaming. But instead of some sort cutesy, angry-birds, IOS like experience, you're getting a fully functional shooter.
I'm not a Zipper fan. I don't have a history with them and the only other titles I've played of theirs where SOCOM4 and MAG. The former of which was solid (at least the SP, not the botched MP) and the latter was ambitious but didn't quite hit the mark. So yeah, I had no idea these guys were capable of something like this. It's a fucking shame that Sonly shelved them as THIS is the direction that Vita titles needed to be headed and Zipper understood that. Instead, Sony sacrifices it's dignity by chasing Activision around, begging for what they thought would be a guaranteed meal ticket.
So is there shit to nitpick? Sure. The AI is random sometimes but more often than not, service the gameplay, whether that's playing like a predator or a commando. Once you get used to the aiming, you'll wish you could turn down (or maybe even turn off completely) auto-aim. The loadtimes could be shorter and the game could do a better job of explaining it's scoring system. Also, they take the cheap route and there's one or two missions with infinite spawning enemies until you pass their designated monster closet.
I think I sunk 30 or more hours into this and loved almost every minute of it.
Please check it out if you ever have the chance.
Store seems to be updating right now, but it looks like there's some errors. I'm seeing Unit 13 for $17.49 with plus.
Indeed.
RCR and a bunch of the discounts are live, but a lot of the stuff is still f***ed up, as I noted above.
Blog says MK (no platform specified) is $14 with PS+. It's not discounted for Vita. But yet it's in the Vita's IGC on the store.
Unit 13 doesn't have the discount that was advertised, it's as if they just discounted it 30% for PS+ instead of 30% for everyone, 50% for plus.
The "holiday sale" banner takes you to last weeks sale on Vita games (LBP, Rayman, etc.)

But the biggest highlight of the year was being able to welcome SCE Cambridge Studio into our fold. Weve officially become a multi-studio company! Guerrilla Cambridge as our new sister studio is known is working hard to ensure that Killzone: Mercenary will be the ultimate handheld first-person shooter experience when it launches for PlayStation Vita in 2013.
The team is intimately familiar with handheld game development, having previously worked on titles such as LittleBigPlanet for the PlayStation Portable, and theyve done a phenomenal job adapting the Killzone 3 engine to the PS Vita platform.

its cool how RCR is 30 MB. makes my memory card feel huge.
Well stuff is being updated but the store update isn't published yet so it's being worked on.
I'm seeing the PS3 version on sale for $15 with plus on the PS3 store.
Someone talk me out of purchasing the MGS HD Collection. I own the retail cart, I own the LEs on ps3 and 360, I own the original releases, I own the substance and substiances, why am I contemplating purchasing the digital version for Vita?
Vitagra?There's a pill for that.
I hope so. Where's your list to Santa, young fella. I need to add something to your pile of presents.
Yeah, I saw that too. I'm still wondering why MK Vita is in the IGC but not discounted. Hope the $14 PS+ applies in the end. :
We need gameplay.
All the Vita deals are still live on my Vita from last week.
I tried it and also saw some videos and let's say it's not a good game. If it's at 10euros i would buy it but there's a lot more good racers on vita. even ridge racer is a better than this.
it's not unplayable but i won't spend any money soon on this game.

Shamelessly pulled from my own thread...
Mostly everyone who posted in the thread agreed. VERY underrated game. Please give it a shot.
I know pretty well about your Vita likings so far, but I am curious. What are other games you really like on other platforms? If I have any money left today I might grab it.
Vitagra?
I AM ENRAGED.
LBP Vita create mode is acting up. I love create mode on the ps3 but I am having serious problems with this one. For example none of the buttons I put down have any wiring connection. I deleted them. Recreated them. Went to pod. Nothing fixed it...
What gives?
From EU blog
In the tutorial there is a a colored light to show you where the wires come out. When im in full create mode I don't see anything. Are you touching where the wires would come out?
> <'s? The wires don't show up until you do that, IIRC. It's a weird quirk with the game, I guess to cut down on people putting a bunch of switches down and having non-connected lines gum up the works.
