Seems like I needed to chime in in a few places to remind y'all that smash bros. (and sony smash to a slightly lesser extent) is not a fighting game. It is a party game that involves characters fighting. :lol

Anyway, merry Christmas.

I think I'm one of the few people who really enjoys RCR.. I bought it on day one and enjoyed it, a lot, from what I played. I went into it expecting indie level stuff, nothing spectacular and I came out happy. Still have to finish getting %100 of the trophies though.

What I am kind of disappointed about is that all the games I bought are free now, lmao. I mean, I think it's great because they're all great and it will entice more people to finally get a Vita but I wish more third party stuff would be thrown in as freebies, but I guess they're taking baby steps now until the install base gets bigger.

As long as DJ MAX doesn't go free for awhile, that's my next addition to my Vita library I think.. It's so stupid expensive but I love rhythm games and the crazy amount of songs makes it worth getting imo.

Oh screw it, your posts have finally convinced me. I'm going to get this game as well. I'm such a Sonic/Sega fanboy, I have to - I can't believe I even gave it a second thought.
 
MGS2 HD looks great on Vita. It's obviously not as great graphically as the ps3 version but dat OLED helps things. Plays great too. The touch functions make up for the missing L2/R2 in a nice, non annoying way.

Feels so good having MGS1 thru 3 on one system. Urge to double dip on PO and PW rising!

It's just so weird. It's one of the oldest PSX classics on the store, probably in the top 3 most downloaded and it runs perfectly on EU Vita from day 1. There can't be any excuses, especially it's been a while since the support was added.
 
Oh wow, the voucher for the PSP CoD game (the one inside BLOPS) sells for a decent buck on eBay. Game got just that much cheaper.

You can, but I don't think it's worth the hassle for games that have to be compatible eventually.

I say this while Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker has been downloadable directly from the Vita store in Japan, and EU since launch as well as compatible with NA Vitas via PS3 transfer but is still missing from the NA Vita store.

But really, how the fuck can you not have Crash Bandicoot compatible when EU does. It's probably the best selling PSX classic right after FF7 (unless it's Crash 2 or 3 :lol).

I'm not sure about the regular online -- I haven't tried it lately. I can fire it up now and tell you if I can find a match easily.

Try 1: found a match within a minute, entered lobby, opponent was gone.
Try 2-4: no opponent found
Try 5: found an opponent, out of practice, got raped by Morrigan astral vision spam.

Check above. I started at 11:18pm.
By 11:21 I was in a ranked match.

Let's try again.

Found an opponent within a minute (ranked).

Note: both opponents had low Win-Loss records, might be new Vita owners who picked up UMvC3 with their Christmas present.

1st: Need a dedicated program just to transfer files while other platforms can use like, Windows Explorer and stuff, my first sigh.

2nd: It requires Windows Media Player of all things to be installed and cannot be installed on some computers I tried regardless the fact that Windows Media Player have already been installed on them. My second sigh.

3rd: By the time I see my Vita said my laptop needed to be connected to the Internet to run Content Manager I literally said "what the fuck Sony" and was really pissed off.

At least I can transfer pictures, videos, and music from my Laptop to my Vita without Internet running. But the thought that I need a running Internet in my laptop to do a data transfer from Vita to my laptop annoy me.

I didn't even know about all these restrictions because, thankfully, I didn't see them. What a pain. :\

Such a tragic step down from the ease of PSP and 3DS file management.
 
Earlier this week I felt the pain of Content Manager. Nothing like needing to download a program update on a painfully slow connection just to transfer some screenshots.

Sony is saying that if you want to play Crash Bandicoot on the go you should buy an Xperia Play.

No, they're not saying that. I don't think you can buy Crash Bandicoot on Xperia Play any more either, lol.

I realize this is an exaggeration, but it really feels like Sony is trying really hard to piss me off, a legitimate buyer of the system, goddamn.

Hopefully someday Sony can do something to remove all these content manager hassles. I mean, for crying out loud your system is really struggling right now Sony, so don't do anything to piss people off like requiring Content Manager just to transfer files!

*sigh*

Sorry for all the negativity folks. A new Vita owner here and I am just legitimately annoyed due to stuff Sony pulled with the Content Manager. Just couldn't believe they would put me through all that just to transfer files.
 
Has anyone in NA bought the Motorstorm RC bundle in the last two days and successfully installed it? There is a support thread with several of us experiencing an error when installing it, and based off similar error codes it usually means the game has to be replaced on the store, it's an error with the build up. So anyone wanting it may want to wait for this issue to be resolved.
 
Oh yeah, I rarely use PSN due to the shitty connection here but if anyone is willing to add LaughingBanana it would be most appreciated :)

Just don't expect me to go online often though, I apologize for that :(
