Well, you guys didn't start out with 3 retail either.
And yes, if you're talking SCEE, maybe you will get Lumines for PS+, but I still don't think it's likely. For the US? I'd think it's nigh impossible.

Is that how YouTube works on every platform or is that the Vita YT app being funky? Must confess my technical ignorance.

i think its just vita. on my evo it doesnt say that.
Regardless, there aren't enough Vita games for them to exclude retail games in the future. As a launch game, an exclusive and a game that is fairly niche Lumines has to be close to the top of the list. I bet we'll definitely see it next year.

As mentioned, 3 and 4 are connected in some minor ways, but overall the Persona series shares similar themes but standalone stories. The older ones do have different battle gameplay (such as negotiations, like the main Shin Megami Tensei series). Still, you should have no problems at all picking it up at 4, and if you like it, check out every other SMT game that you can manage.

So because the Vita library is small, you expect PS+ to start having retail Vita games every month?
They'll start rotating in PSP and PSOne games before they start doing that. And there's a lot of games compatible in EU... it's not like the US where there's maybe 50 PSOne games that are on the store. :lol
That's a straight forward implementation of viewing videos on demand in an application for everything that isn't a live-stream.
It's downloading the video in the background and while it's downloading it, it's calculating how much it has to download before it starts showing you the video because based on the download speed and length of the video it can calculate what kind of buffer is needed so it's not pausing in the middle of the video interrupting you viewing it.
This is also how (progressive, most common) flash videos work on the major PC platforms.
Have to chime in and say that retro city rampage is my biggest disappointment this year. I too regret buying it going on hype alone. Love all the old time gaming and pop culture references but the gameplay isn't very good. Actually it's just so.....boring. I play a mission, quit, go back a few weeks later to play the next one just to see if it gets any better. It doesn't. And now it's free for ps+ members.
I highly doubt they would give away so many retail games at the start if they didn't mean to go on that way. Why do that and get all the negative feedback if they're going to start offering PS1 and PSP games? They'd just be setting themselves up for failure. The reason PS+ changed to retail games in June is because people didn't like getting PS1 games.
Edit: Either way this is all just speculative talk, we'll find out as the months go on.

PlayStation Mobile So far has only 40 games (Lemmings and Alien Breed are the only known one)the rest are Z-rated iOS-ish trash clones, and only 1 app (yes ONE..audio app) Beats Trellis.
I have to admit..the ideas was good on paper,brilliant even but the service failed to deliver everything and turned to another one of Sony's "me too", it failed to bring useful iOS/Android apps to PSvita, it failed to bring good games PlayStation Certified Devices, it failed to bring the well known iOS/Android publishers and indie devs to Vita and PlayStation Certified Devices, most of the publishers who listed as a supported didn't announced anything this just tell you that PSM is a non-wanted service.
It is not too early to judge,it is a Book that can be judged by its covers and PSM right now is a huge failure,it feel unnecessary and give nothing to PSVita owners and PlayStation Certified Devices owners, PSVita has the PSstores while Xperia/PSD owners have many app stores that give them millions of apps and games that are way better than what PSM offer right now.
My advice to Sony is to just close this service -that no one asked for- and rethink your mobile business priorities.

do you have ps+? t hat has a bunch of games for free on it currently.
try Uncharted, Gravity Rush, Sonic Racing Transformed, Zero Escape: Virtues Last Reward, Assassin Creed Liberation, Mutant Blobs Attack, Little Kings story, Hot Shots Golf, lumines, mortal kombat, persona 4g, ... i mean that is a good bit to get you started..
if you read back in the past few pages theres someones top 10 best and worst list which is decently accurate, and an upcoming 2013 game list.

i havent played it on psv but the main difference that people rag on it for is the slow down when you have a maxed team of 30 in your fully built town.... if youre not a real stickler/framerate whore it's totally worth it. the game was a lot of fun on wii and challenging.
really the only thing keeping this game from being a top PSV game are the frame drops....some other people complain about the change in art style as well, but thats up to you.
they added a few new things as well compared the wii version like a hospital for your army etc... which makes it like New Little Kings Story+ vs. the wii version.

Nope. It's pretty useless.
It's just Totobeni being Totobeni, from what I understand.
P3P is ace.
So the latter then lol. Okay, good. Because I eventually plan on getting P3P on my Vita as well, but if the game had like technical issues or something I would skip it.

I've played P3P and P3 FES, and I enjoyed P3P more for some reason, even though FES had The Answer. I was just hoping it wasn't a technical problem with the game on the Vita.
Yeah full Vita Velocity is in the works. Futurlab signed a deal with Sony to release multiple Vita games in 2013 :-D
Also I'm on a karting kick from Sonic Racing and my fiancee got me LBP Karting on PS3 for Christmas. I looooooove it! Wish it was on Vita as a proper port and not like the wretched Modnation Road Trip.

Sony should've kept the PSP/PS1 bubbles clear :/. They still don't look great but it's better than the white/gray we have now.
I heard the certifiction process or something was pretty bad and it was one of the reasons for its failure.

Certification process just opened. So far only 1 game from paid sdk has released. There should be some more next update, people on the Dev forums have some games pending.
The only hiccup I have seen is some people having trouble linking bank accounts.

The framerate problems are very noticeable so if that bothers you, stay away from this version. I have maybe 15-20+ people following me and its pretty bad in the towns. Its kind of like I'm playing in slow motion. Despite that, the game is still very fun.

It's free in EU. No idea why it's in the Instant Game Collection section with the regular price. The PS3 version for MK is reduced though.
Maybe next week it will be discounted and they screwed something up.

Do we have anyone who posts up in here with knowledge of what the hell is going on in the SCEA store? I'd love to know why the store is still busted -- holiday sale link taking me to full priced vita games from last week, IGC showing a full priced MK PS Vita, etc.
Besides, I'm still waiting to hear from the Sony refund department re: Unit 13 fiasco. >_<
Or it was supposed to be discounted this week as well and they fucked up, as SCEA has a history of not understanding how to get things to display right in their store (see: Big Sky Infinity cross-buy, Unit 13 discount, etc.)

It's a very cool puzzle game where you walk around as a person and you have to switch between 2d and 3d to complete the puzzles. Hard to explain but it seems weird that there's no gameplay on Youtube. It's a PSP game. Also on 3DS. Definitely worth $2.50.
