Just copy them across as photos, and then you can select them for the backgrounds to each page by long pressing and then choosing the icon in the corner.

Alright cool, but I forgot to also ask how he managed to assign 4 or less games to one page; how do you do that?

If you long press in a bubble you can edit the background and move the bubbles around to any page you want just moving the bubble to the top or bottom of the screen to change the page. If you click the "PLUS" sign you add a new pages.

Thanks, too bad only games that never got to Europe or newer releases as classics are NTSC. Really wish they'd give the opportunity to choose the original version for every game in the store since the whole 50hz/black bars issue was well known in the PSOne era.

With you on this, it's really annoying and the reason I haven't bitten on many PSOne classics that I might otherwise have given a try,

Does anyone know if I can transfer and play stuff bought on the american store via PS3 on my european Vita?

Are you using the same US account on your Vita? If so then it'll be fine as the region of the hardware is irrelevant.

Otherwise, I think you can do this by resetting your Vita to your US account (without formatting the memory card) but in order to use content from different regions you'll need to reset the Vita each time. I'm sure that's how it works, though as I don't do it you might want to wait for someone else to chime in.

I stick stubbornly to one store now. If I were to use more than one I'd probably buy a second Vita!

I know Street Fighter X Tekken has Cross Play, but I was wondering: if I use the DLC voucher included from with the Vita version, does that mean that I also get the DLC for the PS3 version if I ever decide to get that as well?

Got my PDP Trigger Grips delivered yesterday. I ordered them shortly after I started falling in love with Sonic & All Stars Racing, and they're perfect. No more cramps, and my man hands aren't accidentally losing the 'right' amount of pressure on the triggers.

Definitely recommended if you sometimes find yourself not pressing R just the right way in Assassin's Creed or a racing game.

^ Do those solve the shoulder buttons not registering a hit sometimes? I guess it depends on how I hit them, I'm not sure. All I am sure of is how terrible the standard Vita shoulder buttons are.

Fixed my problems. The Vita's triggers wiggle to much left and right, that sometimes I'd think I would be holding properly, but I would only be pressing the bottom right down, and I'd suddenly stop running/accelerating.

PDP's are vertical like the Xbox, so they don't wiggle around, and I think they register the buttons with a lower amount of pressure, so they offer a lot of give in comparison.

I'm having a hard time playing some of the games in Smart As due to them not localizing it for North America properly, specifically the game where they say a word and you're supposed to spell it.

They're using the EU pronunciation of the word, which in some cases sounds like a completely different word, and words like Chateau are spelled like Chateaux which are pronounced the same.

Anyone else having this issue?

Have the same issue. Also, occasionally my handwritten numbers don't register properly. I've never had the best handwriting but a clearly written 2 sometimes registers as a 5 and sometimes a 5 registers as a 3.

One month into owning the Vita I picked up from Amazon BF. I've aleady sold both games and the mem card that it came with, and got a 32gb and Persona 4G. I've barely played P4G since it's just hard for me to want to make the time for RPGs anymore. I've downloaded demos of Lumines, Katamari, and RCR.

After missing out on the Lumines BF-deal on Amazon, and waiting too long on gohasting's listening on Amazon that wasn't that much more expensive, I just decided to buy it digitally after the small price drop last night.

I like it. I've played it for nearly 3 hours. Beat Journey no problem, got as close as 29 squares cleared in 30 second Stopwatch, and on Zone 3. Closest to the magic I felt in the first Lumines. (It's hard for me to say which is worse, Lumines II or Lumines Plus.) I'd say I neither regret nor am I ecstatic about my purchase at the moment. I'll try playing with headphones next time.

Pleasantly surprised by Katamari. I'll probably get it digitally too if I can't find a good deal on physical. Right now a new copy is more than digital on Amazon.

The RCR demo I barely tried, so I'm not rushing to redeem my PSN+ codes.

Question: Is it possible to turn off auto-renew on PSN+, or do I just have to remember to cancel it right before it expires? I was planning on redeeming the one month, getting all I can out of JSR and WipeOut and whatever else, and letting it expire. Renew when another rotation of games comes in.

If you play P4G with the very easy difficulty you won't have to grind at all(since you wont die) and by that you cut huge amount of the play time.

My Vita came in today. Need an 8gb card for cheap. im uk based.

obligatory posted from my vita line.

I think Grainger Games and Amazon are the cheapest. Grainger Games definitely is the cheapest on the high street. I also recommend getting as big as you can. I had an 8gb at first but it was nowhere near enough, even my 32gb isn't big enough now.

My Vita's fine. I was playing Unit 13 last night with no issues, but the shoulder buttons are still really poor compared to most of the other buttons on the Vita.

they are crap, but few days ago you said they don't register most of the time like 70% or something(which is not normal even for Vita crappy L/R).

anyway here is the thing with the trigger grip, they clip on the L/R shoulder buttons from the middle so it might solve your problem...

however the PDP trigger grip main issue is that they made clicking on the triggers not so smooth as it should to be(so in a racing game they just sucks hard)

My new memory card just got delivered today. If I've backed up all Applications to the PC (seemed to include MK at 3GB+, Gravity Rush at 1GB+ and so on), is that all I need to do, or do I actually need to do a full Backup and Restore?

Got this little game case at Walmart for $4 yesterday. So nice to have because I had to store all of these in the four slots in my Vita case and it was a pain. I couldn't easily see what games were in the case and I had to pull them out in stacks of three to look for them. Much better this way.

After seeing Swords & Soldiers is coming to 3DS, it made me wish we had similar games on Vita. I've asked it before and I'll ask it again but are there any similar games on Vita? I'm talking like RTS, sim, sandbox type games? I finally got around to playing it (Swords and Soldiers) on my PS3 (since I've had it from PS+) and I had a blast. It seems perfect for Vita, shame we don't have similar experiences.

I completely forgot about Castlestorm! They plan to release it on every digital platform ever, so it should be coming to Vita. So excited! I love their games so this one should be awesome, and it'll scratch that strategy/SIM itch I've been having ever since platinum-ing New Little King's Story.

You don't need to play P3P before P4G though it is definitely worth playing regardless.

Monster Hunter is improved with dual sticks but that is the only one on your list that I have played on Vita.

As far as I know PSP online works exactly the same on Vita.

Jump straight to P4G.

You cant transfer a US PS1 game onto a EU Vita account, or did you mean something else?

If you bought a WiFi bundle your Vita doesn't have GPS. Only the 3G units do. The WiFi versions ping off of nearby WiFi signals to make a location. Sometimes it's very inaccurate. People have said they had the service improve by going to Skyhook's (the company that provides Vita WiFi gps-esque stuff) website and inputting your info. I did this before Vita launched, and have never had a problem with it locating where I'm at.

Thanks for that. Didn't realize it was using wifi. I'll try your suggestion.

Thanks for your fast reply! Hmm I think I might start with P3P since it'll give P4G a chance to go on sale, sweet

Keep the impressions coming folks! I'm surprised there isn't a thread on PSP games getting new life with Vita, We should have a a good list of titles that become pretty great when played on Vita (control issues fixed, less slowdown)

Feel free to comment on games that aren't on my list as well. Thanks

well it doesn't require a complete backup of the entire card. so you can do that if you want.

Also , I might grab me a PSP game real quick.... Any opinion/reviews on these games?(Does the right analog enhance some of these?)

Ape Escape On The Loose only for camera, since it was made for PSP
The 3rd Birthday no,and it's shitty game don't buy
Crisis Core FF7 is this even on PS store????
Resistance Retribution yes,it's good game too
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite ( Well, Any monster hunter actually) yes,but it's a very bad and boring game don't buy it
Split Second not really, but the Vita analogue stick made it way better
God Eater Burst yes, and buy this game it's very good, the best of the genere
Tomb Raider Anniversary you map the L/R to the right stick for the camera so yes,it's also decent on PSP

Im eager to try the Persona series after reading all these rave comments, Should I get P3P and play that first or jump straight to P4G??

Get Persona 4 Golden, avoid P3P it's trash.

Im familiar with Shin Megami Tensei on DS a little but nothing more

Persona is not SMT.

I also have 2 more questions.... Should I take the plunge on the PSP GOW series even though Ill end up paying more then the PS3 HD Collection?

No, just get PS3 HD collection it's way better and cheaper.

BTW, PSP has some damn good games sheesh

get Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure it's a damn great 3D Zelda like game.

And can you still play PSP games online with Vita?
Yes

Thanks for the help and support guys, I never owned a PSP so I missed out on a lot, Im trying to catch up!!!

we are here to help and Vita is the definitive way to play PSP games so enjoy.

It's nowhere near as bad as 70%. When I was playing gravity rush it was maybe once out of every 15-20 hits. I've noticed since then the L button is pretty much the same so it must be the design.

I'll have to eventually look into some of these grip options.

Silly question but do you have the UPC code for that? I'd like to get that.

Here you have some of my impresions:
Vice City Stories
Didn't check it in Vita but the 2nd analog would really help because it was the main flaw of the game. Other than that, it's a great GTA (PS2 style) game.
Crisis Core FF7
I'm bored of the too repetitive and too frequent NES like combats in JRPG. So I didn't like JRPGs since a lot of time ago. But liked this one. Great visuals and music, and the combats are action oriented, almost like in a brawler. It's the last FF I liked.

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite ( Well, Any monster hunter actually)
Great game with hundreds of hours of gameplay. Here the 2nd analog really helps. You'll need some patience to start seeing how is the game but the experience is really good.
Ultimate Ghouls and Ghosts
Fucking masterpiece.

The Vita's suspension and sleep feature is incredible. I have a second Vita that had a game running on it and I let it sleep for over a month and the battery still has about 80-90% charge left.

My Vita is ready.... for January 6th

Thank you, Toma, Totobeni, and Cookie 18

You guys are a great help. I do have my eyes on Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure, so thats why I didn't list it

Awww, sucks to hear that P3P and 3rd Birthday aren't that good, they look phenomenal from the outside lol, Wish I had a way to try them before hand

Just joined PS Plus and got:
Gravity Rush
Uncharted
Jet Set Radio
Retro City Rampage
WipeOut 2048
and FF Tactics War of the Lions

(reserved at least, my card is tiny lol)

All for 17.99
....

It already payed for itself in less then 1 minute... Ill be damned yo...

The Turd Birthday is just bad and clumsy repetitive 3rd person shooter and not a real Parasite Eve game.

Would I fare better playing Parasite Eve 1 and 2 for PS1?

Thanks yurinka, I played MH 3rd on Wii and loved it, We are working with 2 different types of console fidelity here, so If I go back and play MH on PSP, could there be a slight chance Id be disappointed on how limited the scale and scope of the game is? Or am I playing a comparable experience

enjoy all these game. :)

PS+ is very good value-wise.

as for Gurumin

""It's a pretty amazing game with good mix between RPG elements and 3D platforming the combat system is simple but really neat and very satisfying, it's filled with really cool and beautiful dungeons(they are open, big and very challenging with a lot of puzzles) with very interesting story and really funny dialogue from Parin and her friends.

It's easy to pick and play and yet it's not mindless game it require skills from you,the PSVita make it better to play since you can use the right stick for the camera instead of L/R like the PSP.it's on of the games that look amazing with Vita filtering and screen. ""

PE1 and PE2 are very good (S-E,why they are not on Vita store yet?)

I asked this a few pages back:
"One question... if you have two memory cards for a single account, if you swap them, do you loose the bubbles location and custom wallpapers or does the Vita remember were are each bubble located?"
