Vita PSN Game & Service Thread 2

My biggest problem with P4G is that it isn't out until the end of feb in Europe, and by then I'll have Ni No Kuni on PS3 taking up my time.

Im excited for Ni No Kuni too but honestly you should be looking at it the other way around. I just hit 180 hours played on P4G last night.

Kind of the same boat. I have some credit to spend on a vita game and really want to give P4G a shot. I feel like it will be too text heavy for my liking....

I'm not a fan of text heavy games and I've put roughly 50 hours into Persona 4. It spaces out the dialogue focused moments, and they're usually voice acted and pleasurable to experience so it doesn't ever slow the game down for me.

Best Vita game for me and my favorite RPG outside of FF9.

As beautiful as it will undoubtedly look, I'd swap Ni No Kuni on the PS3 for a Vita version in a heartbeat - purely because I can spend more time on it that way. It takes me weeks just to get through an average length game on home consoles.

Sounds good. I have watched some gameplay video of the beginning. The dialogue seems like an interesting style and very entertaining.

It seems like a game that is more than deserving of a shot.

Dialogue is P4's highlight (I find the dungeons and combat to be quite boring). Luckily, the dialogue is very much worth it.

I'm excited to get back to it once I unlock the final few tracks in Sonic Racing.

You guys have too much patience of have been exposed to too much anime. I can't stand P4 dialogue at all.

i don't watch any anime tv shows (except pokemon/digimon as a child) and haven't seen many films. i really enjoy the dialogue. it's refreshing after confining most of my rpg time to pokemon and square games, where the dialogue is always so dull.

dat backslash, lol

Quite the contrary. I almost don't watch any anime at all. Just 70s stuff if I do.
They're all kids, don't mind reading a story through their eyes.

Sure the dialogue quality is better, but that's not really a compliment when it comes to vg writing. It's still so damn slow.

So did I imagine a Lumines: Electric Symphony PS+ discount? Because i was super excited to waste all my PSN gift cards in one swoop

It was a shared hallucination by all of us. But Grace Chan hit us in the face with reality.

So, are you mad because they don't carry the game, or because he called you dude?

Not so much the fact they didn't have the game. But the workers general attitude stunk. He didn't seem to care, and he gave me incorrect information, because he was too preoccupied with his task. I didn't feel he tried to help, he didn't even offer to check other GS locations for the game. My experience with GS today is typical with what most people think about them. The poor customer service is a huge turn off.

The HD Collection? That was discounted two weeks ago, but it's already been replaced with a new set of deals.

Was this just in the US? I couldn't find it anywhere. Also, was it the individual Vita games? I may hold out to see what the January sales are on EU PSN.

Yeah, that was for the US. It was the bundle for ~$17 (with PS+).

That's great, thank you. I assume they will get discounted here soon then too. I'll wait for that, I didn't like MGS when I tried the PS3 HD collection so I don't know if I will like it on Vita either.

Confession I never finished MGS3. I bought the MG:HD Vita collection from last weeks PSN sale. I love the idea taking a full Metal Gear game with me.

Is there any downside to importing the US version of Persona 4 if you've got a european vita? US import version is avalible from some swedish stores for 40€ (normal retail price for new games).

There's no downside at all, especially as it is a single player only game. Although I have also imported Ragnarok Odyssey and I have no problems with that online.

Works fine. There is no DLC and unlikely to ever be so go for it!

Question VitaBros. I have a european copy of wipeout and a US Vita account. Is there any way for me to get an online pass that'll work with it?
For example if I made an EU account and switched my Vita over to EU temporarily and then downloaded the online pass, would it work if I then switched back to my US account?

Right anyone know where to purchase the US ver. of:
Persona 4 Golden
Virtue's Last Reward

For cheap?

...also not on my Vita atm, but how much is Velocity going for on US PSN?

The online pass will be tied to your account, so I think this is a no go. :(

Oh man, P4G is so good. I actually wish people would stop getting kidnapped though, it's taking away from me hanging out with my friends.
