EU playstation division make me sick, their support for the vita on PSN store is terrible.

That's pretty much all I have to say at the moment

I was reading up on the Xperia z and just realised.

They could make a cheap vita by using a LCD screen with Bravia engine built in. A 720p one is super cheap nowadays

How so?

They have been fantastic to me.,,

Lots of ps1/ psp games, psp price drops, most releases day and date, sales on vita titles, exclusive apps

What more can they do?

So I got my Vita pretty recently and I initially bought Wipeout and VLR. I'm craving a little more now and I still have about 50 in Amazon gift cards from Christmas. I'm kind of in the mood to beat the crap out of stuff so I was thinking about getting Ninja Gaiden and just splurging the rest on a $20 PSN card.

Are there any particular stellar minis or downloadables I should check out? I can get into just about anything, but I'm in the mood for more arcadey/action stuff at the moment.

Didn't Sony have a Share like site were one could suggest ideas? We should really suggest a port of at least Jak & Daxter for Vita. It would be awesome with that platformer on a handheld!

What's your impression of VLR?

I don't recall any worthwhile Vita sales, we were told there would be one in the new years but nope. Also the fact that an ass tonne of games available in the US aren't available in the EU

They said they have a vita specific sales next month.

They had ones before, I bought hot shots for £7 and mod nation for £4

And the only game not coming to Europe I know of is dj max. And sony have no say in that. Hell we even got MLB for crying out loud

No pleasing some people...

What's your impression of VLR?

I actually haven't played it yet. The girlfriend and I were playing through 999 together so I bought it in anticipation of finishing that. We loved 999 however, so if VLR is more of that than I can't say I'll be disappointed.

Haha. They had quite a few Vita sales last year. Far more than US had.

Only missing games are ones that have no publisher in the EU or have a different publisher who decided on a different date

SCEE have been doing a far better job than SCEA. There have been a few sales to be honest. Over Xmas I got rayman and dungeon hunter for about £13 a pop. The gave us about 100 psone games when the arrived while the US got about 6.

Some games arrive here a bit later than over there but seeing as the vita is not region locked you can get round that. For example I p4g for £35 and that's not out for over a month here.

Not sure what ass tonne of games available in the states and not here are? Ragnarock is coming but no date yet. Djmax not coming I don't think. P4g next month. Anything else????

EU psn does have a major weak point in that you can't play burnout legends/dominator on vita

Seriously.

Fix it pls :(
Burnout Legends
Ultimate Ghosts and Goblins
One of the megaman games (can't remember which one)
Retro City Rampage

and more (mainly psp games I know, but still)

I noticed no heroes allowed has appeared on UK store and remembered some one here harked on about it a lot. Looks like a dungeon keeper style game. Is that accurate?

Retro City rampage is out next week.

The others aren't vita games so don't show a lack of support for the vita (still sucks they aren't here though)

Sony don't have the power to just put games up you know, for a EU release they have to be available in many languages, work in various laws and censorship states as well as have many many licenses renewed. For America they need one.

Also no Carl, nothing can even out the massive loss that is burnout :(

Yeah I knew all this already, I'm just salty

Fair enough, just annoys me when people expect Europe to get everything instantly, it sucks but like a game has to be in at least 5 languages and over 12 different licenses and law states.

My friend does sales for R* north and you would not believe how much of a hassle selling in Europe is, even with EU Free trade

Also just said one of the games is around 60 MB.....plot thickens.
I'm sticking with my theory that it's a social flashlight app. It'll be called Sunshine Club. Free to play, with an energy meter that recharges over time, or you can buy a new battery on the PSN store. Trade batteries over near. Turn the light on and off 50 times for bronze trophy. Leaderboards for longest continuous lighting...

...

I'll stop now.

So with PS All-Stars and MGS: HD Collection, I think I'll buy Persona 4 Golden in February and then Sly: Thieves In Time in March.

I'll see if I can find a used copy of Uncharted: Golden Abyss. I regret having sold it.

All I really need for PS Vita is Jak & Daxter HD, PlayStation Home and a Tekken though.

Since they already manage to sell on the PSN store, they'd be stupid to put it on PSMobile. Even if its a cheap title for 5$, they'd have a way, WAY bigger income than putting it for 2$ or 5$ on PSMobile. Achievements alone will get people to buy the more expensive PSN version.
