The AT-AT dog at the end was great. I loved that mini-Vader commercial they had last year, looking forward to seeing what they came up with this time.

Commercial was adorable. I liked how many of the various dogs represented some of the characters (like the gold one in the back as 3PO's chestplate, the white dog up front has a lightsaber, Chewie's belt, Ewok hat, Vader's chestplate, etc.) and AT-AT dog was awesome.

So are they making a star wars car or something?

Also, the video lead me to youtubing duel of fates. Haven't heard it in years, still the best thing about the prequels.

Maybe the Android OS will be built into the car or something. Droid is an officially licensed name from Lucasarts.

I hope the 'creatives' who came up with that ad were payed exorbitant amounts of money it's such a stellar idea.

1. They probably should. They did their job and got a lot of exposure for the brand.
2. They most certainly aren't. The times of Mad Men are over. Especially for the lowly guys who probably came up with this. Advertising isn't a glamorous job (anymore)

I thought the VW ad from last year (the one with the Darth Vader kid) was the most overrated ever, I don't get how it was talked about for months.
This one is much better and cooler.

So much hate in this thread for such a cool ad.

Though one of my dogs loses his mind everytime it is on TV.

Many people will watch the Superbowl just for the commercials. So no to surprising if you keep that in mind.

That's pretty much me.

I'll be reading a book while surrounded by loud, beer pong playing family. Then the commercials come on and we'll all shut up and listen.

Last year's ad with the Darth Vader kid was nice.

However, I don't understand who VW is making all their marketing Star Wars themed. Are they getting a money from LucasArts or Fox or something? It's just... weird.
