I'm in. I really want a Flat Screen monitor and would'nt midn an ipod. The thing is we need someone to organize this and I think the order of which people get the referealls should be based on when they signe dup for this little venture.

Would I be able to get two different referrals from my 2 parents? I mean they are 2 different credit cards with two different names. Or would it not work as they are both from the same mailing address?

That's the only reliable way to do it, get some people involved for you (since it IS free technically) that aren't expecting to get the deal themselves.

Conga lines will quickly run dry, especially for the poor saps who sign on, i don't know...tomorrow? :)

hopefully whoever is organizing this is doing separate lines for the tvs and the ipods, and starting a NEW conga line for Gaming Age.

Dj Tet, we already decided we're gonna do both the flat screens and iPods. So if you only want one, just sign up for both and complete the offers for the person you're under, then don't worry about getting referrals for the one you don't want.

So far, I've sent PMs to with my referral links to:

1) B'z-chan
2) Boogie9IGN
3) yoshifumi
4) Archaix
5) Bort

As of right now, only Boogie has signed up (but not yet completed an offer).

Since the iPod needs 5 referrals and the flat screen needs 8, I'm not sure how we'll work this out, but we'll figure it out. After those 5 people sign up and complete their offers, we'll keep going down the line. I'll update this post as people complete their offers so everyone can keep track of the progress.

So what happens once all 5 of those people complete their offers? Does the next person on the list (B'z-chan) send referral offers to the next 5 people on the list (6-10)?

This is gonna take an awfully long time :p.

So how do they know when you have completed an offer? Like for instance E-Bay? Once you sign up to ebay via the confirmation email, all references to the monitor deal will be gone (up to that point you are doing it through them)

And where am I on the list ;P

Bruce, I didn't see your PM until after I had gotten going with people who posted in this thread, but you'll be next in line. I'm compiling a list right now so we can get this sorted out. Everyone just calm down for right now and don't do anything (unless you've already gotten a PM from me with the links you need).

Correct. But not until I say so in this thread, that way things stay organized and everybody goes in order.

This will take a long time if everybody does the Ebay offer since it takes 1-3 days for you to get credit for it. If everyone does the other offers where you sign up for something with a credit card, you get credit instantly. Then you just cancel the deal a week or so later and get your money back (or before you even get charged).

EDIT: The first problem we have is people only signing up for one of the offers. You need to specify in advance if you're only going to do one or the other! Also, after you sign up, you'll need to PM me with the email address you used so I know whose email addy corresponds to whose username here.

EDIT : I wish I didn't recently sign up for Columbia House..hehe...that would have been an easy one :)

You gonna be dedicated enough to run this thing even though you'll be the first out with his iPod?


edit: Hell I'll sign up for both offers, nothing wrong with another iPod. Not really sure how the sites work, aren't they separate sites?

Just depends on your definition. Look, if one person has to get 5 others to sign up to actually get anything, and they have to do the same, and so on... it's impossible that everyone who signs up will get anything unless there are an infinite number of people to keep signing up. Since each level multiplies the previous by five, it's that bottom row of people who don't get anything which will be the largest. Even if people can cancel their orders, it's still a waste of their time. Unless, of course, you create fake people to be the bottom row... in which case it's a rip-off in the other direction.

Yeah, I'll either run it until it dies or we can set it up so whoever needs to referrals runs it then passes the duties on once they get what they need. Whatever people want to do.

Yes, the people on the bottom may not end up getting all the referrals they need. To get some more, they can actually get family/friends to sign up, but hopefully everyone will at least get some easy referrals from this thread.

I need everyone who said they want to participate to go back and edit their post to say for either the iPod, flat screen, or both. That way I can get a list/diagram made for the order.

And as soon as everyone goes back and specifies which offer (or both) they want to participate in, I can put up a list so everyone can see the order and the progress.
