You probably look good and not crazy then :P but yeah I'm kinda assuming I guess since I never tried this

If it's in college I think a hell of a lot more girls are willing to give out numbers just to hook up. In that sense it doesn't seem to be a problem to get these results in that environment.
 
This is actually my technique at parties and the bar, can't remember where I picked it up from. It always just seemed a lot smoother than sitting there with phone in hand like a little puppy dog. chat with a girl for awhile, then you just say hey "go ahead and put your number in my phone."

My friends tease me about this because a couple times I've just walked away to talk to someone else and come back for my phone a few minutes later. But now they all do it.
 
Now that I think about it, I remember actually doing this in middle school. I walked up to this one girl I liked but never talked to before and...oh wait, I gave her my number instead of having her give me hers. That makes it a little different I guess, but she called me :)

I was so pimp as a kid.

I have a strong feeling that's where 90% of this thread's "This wouldn't/doesn't/can't work!" statements are coming from.

Is a "rejection rate" really all that important if you get even just ONE pretty girl's number out of it? That's one more opportunity than you had before you started.
 
Once I talked to this pretty girl on a plane from Utah to LA. I was there visiting my GF at the time. She gave me her number, I wish I would have called her. I don't know why I didn't.

Maybe it was because she wrote her number down in the book of Mormon that she gave to me.

Still she was sexy. Such a great conversation. I broke up with said GF 3 months later. I should have pursued her, but long distance is garbage.

I would have ended up marrying her. She was magic.
 
Guys.....these kinds of videos, all of them, are stupidly, stupidly edited. The simple pick up guys said straight up that people who respond to them are a tiny tiny fraction of the people they approach. Campus police also run them the fuck out when they stick around for too long on different campuses. That Russian dude who grabbed 1000 boobs? He said he got hundreds and hundreds of no's over weeks and weeks of talking to people.

If you spend a day talking to literally every single girl you see, you're going to get a few positive responses. It's probability. These guys probably talked to 100 girls to get the 10 or so we saw in the video to respond.

I think the point of the video was not to show how many numbers you can get by stalking around the campus, but to show that if you're sure of yourself and direct you can get a number. The point, I think, is that when you meet a girl you like, you should be direct and confident when you ask for her number. The volume was to show the success rate, I think.

And I'm totally with Coconut and his friend. I don't mind these kind of "The Game" losers learning a lesson.
 
probably got one number for every 15+ girls he asked. he'd probably get more if he took his sunglasses off. eye contact is keyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Forget the number aspect for a second. You could tell some of the girls were into it. I am sure attractiveness plays a huge part in this type of approach though.
 
Did something like this in highschool, worked better when girls are alone. Also many of those who are alone will pretend not to hear you. The ones that do give you the number are the ones who would be into you.
 
The allure is in the confidence and unforeseen potential. The sunglasses help reinforce that. Shit gets really awkward when these guys stare into the distance though (specifically the 2nd guy). Hopefully they put up a rejection reel, I'd be curious how their confidence could best situations where they had no glasses or even if the females were taller than the male.
 
Like anything else, this is a numbers game. Attractiveness, confidence, etc. obviously increase chances of getting legit responses, but keep in mind that luck plays a large role in any game.

This is totally wrong these are the true factors that get results when approaching a girl and asking for her phone number:

1. Size, make your self look huge. Pin stripes, big hair, and layers like just as many layers of clothes as you can handle. This works best during the summer time if you are wearing ten layers of clothing and her boyfriend only wears 8, she's all yours.

2. Talk loud and talk fast, this is pretty obvious. The loudest man is always the most liked man. Talk fast because if you talk slow women have tendency to think about what you are saying and focus on things, sadly they aren't smart so it'll fry their brains so if you keep a steady stream of words going they'll have issues picking out one to dwell on.

3. Be aggressive, snarl at the women, get into her personal space. Get at least 3 inches away from her face. Flapping your arms like an angry bird doesn't hurt either.

Just because you are trying to get numbers doesn't mean I has to be a numbers game follow these three simple rules and I promise you'll be wandering around the bone-zone ASAP.
