It worries me. Spielberg has always said that he would never make a movie where the aliens were the bad guy. I'm worried it'll turn out like Taken where the first 3/4ths of the movie they're mean aliens and at the end they just want a hug.

Keep it that way. Not only does the show start to circle the drain in the last half of it's run, but the last episode was probably the worst, most disappointing conclusion I could imagine.

I really hope that a release of that TV series is timed with the release of the movie. I even liked the second season, when it was retooled to be darker and Blade-Runner-ish.
