Well PS5 and PS5 Pro enhanced (hows it enhanced? Still dont know) Darktide launched today, my old topic is popping off, but that's old news (and like 2 updates ago)





So who's playing? It's crossplay between all platforms so expect to see plenty of fresh meat as of today. The new Havoc mode brings something for the veteran players too.

This is the best Left 4 Dead style game since Vermintide 2. Anyone who is a fan of the genre should look into this game.

Dude your telling me you dislike the Destiny style of dripfed content you need to watch some youtubers lore guide and read blog posts and watch weird transmission videos on YouTube to get?

Because otherwise it would bog the game down in meaningful story, its much better this way /s.

Amazing game that gets insane on the higher difficulties. I got two of my buddies to get it on PS5 and I'm excited to show them the ropes. I heard they nerfed the ogryn which makes me sad.

Had it on preorder for 2 weeks now, today is the day (finally).

This was one of the games that made me buy a XSX after watching the first trailer btw, there's something about this whole grimdark aesthetic that just clicks with me...

Besides, I had lots of fun with Vermintide 2 on the PS4 so I couldn't skip this

PS: this has got to be one of the best looking games on the PS5 Pro so far, the image is just C-R-I-S-P

You said PS5. Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is on PS Plus Extra, if you have that tier of Plus. The games are very similar, and Vermintide 2 is actually a bit better than Darktide when it comes to playing with bots. There was also a 60fps update a while back as well. Neither game allows for solo only with no bots or other players, though.

Game is already dark as it is ffs, how could they forget to implement that ?

It looks really great but in the main city and during hectic fights, fps drops below 60. It doesn't reach 30 but definitely 40ish.

I don't have an fps counter, it's not a huge deal but I am a bit disappointed. I prefer 2k or 1080p resolution with a steady framerate over 4k tbh.

Game is really cool though, takes getting used to, aiming with controller...

Edit: I haven't played a shooter on console since Destiny TTK.

Considering Fatshwrk is now owned by Tencent, we are lucky we don't have to pay extra for those options.

Yes there is an fov slider. But the game desperately needs a performance mode imho. For the PS5 Pro, yes.
