I live in arizona, this is a good thing. If ever there is an incident of abuse or murder or something, then it's a bad thing, but I think too many automatically suspect that a bunch of crazy white power bald guys with lots o' guns are just going down to the border to shoot some mexeecans.

It is amazing no violence got spawned out of this, and the kind of ugly spew coming out of the ACLU. I recall a newspaper article back when the Arizona one was organized reporting like 20% were naturalized citizens and almost the same amount Latino. /shrug

The way I feel about Illegals is that they should have no rights to US civil and commercial services except those that include basic human rights. Any money they make in the US should be seized if they attempt to send it back home (but they can keep the money for themselves to use to gain proper citizenship). After all they are working in US illegaly and, in my assessment, have no legal right to the money. They are in essence stealing. Any company employing illegals should be levied steep fines as well.

Damned if they work. Damned if they dont work. :lol

We should definitely open up our immigration more to make up for the obvious gap in demand we face.

Most Americans don't want to do the work these illegal immigrants do and definitely not for the wages they are paid. We should legalize a lot more so no one has any reason to complain.

First tragedy, then farce.
As a Texan I would just like to point out that Goliad is not significant because it was home to many of the people who died in the Alamo, way to check your fucking facts. Goliad is significant because a group of Texas volunteers was captured and subsequently killed by the Mexican army during the Texas independence war. It was one of the two major losses Texas took during the war...

This problem is going to continue as long as Mexico continues to have the standard of living they have. The kicker is that it is in the US's best interests that Mexico has the standard of living it does as it means it can buy products from Mexico quite cheaply and sell them for a lot of $$$. It is pretty well the reason why Xbox consoles are built there instead of Canada.

Or, we could hold corporations to their social responsibilities and compel them through social pressure and legislation to pay a decent wage to the Americans who buy their products, and who support them through corporate welfare.

Not that I'm holding my breath for either scenario to come to pass...

First step in Texas declaring it's independence again.

woah woah woah, lets keep things in order. First we get rid of Florida, then we can think about Texas.

Maybe the illegals should come over with bags full of Xboxes, some of those Minutemen are bound to be Xbots....
