Starting to get very windy in South Wales (15hrs to go?).
Getting a little nervous. Hope we get Holiday Inn rather than Travelodge from our insurance company haha.

It's worse than we thought guys.

I'm glad I dismantled the trampoline now - despite it being a pain in the arse to do. I'd really not like to have to apologise about it landing in someone's conservatory.

Latest from the mids, nice and sunny, most pleasant it has been for weeks! Bacon was good toast was a little cold though, next time I may preheat the plate.

Midlands signing out.

Pretty windy for me in East London. My blinds are slapping around because of the slight draft I've got coming in. My door's flying around, too, if I leave it open. Was tempted to go shopping before the football later but I don't know if I can be arsed hoofing around Oxford Street in gale force winds.

Which part of EL are you in?

Oh god I left my window open a little in an attempt to slightly halt the mould taking over my room. Hopefully I'll beat #DeathStorm2013 home.

It is.

It's not due to hit until 9pm-10pm.

Has anyone broken review embargo for this storm, yet?

Doesn't matter, this storm will get 9s and 10s anyway because they spent so much money on the marketing and hype campaign. Bunch of moneyhats these meteorologists are. Always overrating the size of the storms.

Sunny as fuck in Newcastle at the moment, though it looks like we won't really be getting -too- much of the storm anyway.

I'm at home for the weekend and planning to go from Cambridge to Reading tonight on the train. Chances of shit being canceled? I have five lectures on Monday
that I wouldn't mind missing but yaknow, you got to make an effort at uni

Depends on if and when National Rail put in speed restrictions. They usually come with some cancellations. Heavy rain seems to be forecast around London for after 22:00 tonight, and I guess the wind will be picking up around then too. I take the train out of London home from work at 23:34 and will be cycling back from the station after midnight so I'll probably be killed.

Bethnal Green.

Less windy now, like.

You're down the road from me. I'm in Bow. Number 8 to Old Ford, haha!

Gotten pretty dark and cloudy here and wind's
begininning to big up pace.

The tree outside is so skinny, i'm scared it's gonna collapse onto the house.

So I can either stay at university and die in Oxford or go home and die in Wales. :/

So then my prediction for the night, Mumbles lighthouse will get the top wind speed. The bristol channel has the effect of funneling winds and increasing their speed.

Top windspeed tonight....105mph. That's my guess.
