I'm in the South of Ireland and on my drive home today there was an empty wheelie bin on its side in the middle of the road. THE END IS NIGH!!

I'm in Cambridge, which appears to be bang in the middle of the predicted storm area.

The sky has clouded over in the last couple of hours, and it's been windy since yesterday.

Come at me, storm.

Rumours are that COBRA is having an emergency meeting about what bad news they can leak while the stormageddon batters the UK like an agressive husband thrashes his insolent wife.

East of England here, hopefully we won't get as severely battered as the West coast, because we're better than them and they deserve it.

You must sever the lid, or it will rise up from the dead and consume you.

I actually got out of the car and wheeled it on to the path. Because of my act of kindness it let me live and decided to spare the human race as long as we keep them fed.

Average wind were i am but going to be heavy rain, if i don't see someone windsurfing down a high street on the news i'll be disappointed.

Oh man, I hope the people have things prepared there. My dad's on a business trip in London for a few more days, so very worried for his safety.

It'll be ok, man. 60-70mph gusts = 40-50mph sustained maybe? It'll be like strong tropical storm winds.

Should be a bit messy, but its not anything to seriously worry over.

In Scotland we called our "storm of the forever" Hurricane Bawbag, what's this one called?

Are we going with Stormageddon?

We need a worthy title to be able to look back upon this fateful day with due reverence.

Main road outside my place has been flooded after a nice shower of rain. South of Glasgow.
A bus just tanked it down the road and the spray went about 10 meters either side. Wind keeps changing sporadically though.

Brixton-GAF reporting in, been quite windy all day but no rain. No sign of any damage on my little trip to the shop earlier, fully expecting it to get proper blustery later though.

Wind picking up in Eastern England I think.

Saying that, I was woken up this morning by the wind and rain battering into my window - thought that might have been the storm then!

Irksome breezathon 2013.
The terrible draught.

So this morning, it was pretty windy, no rain though and was actually quite warm.
Throughout the afternoon, had little spots of rain, nothing out the ordinary though and again, was still quite warm.
Coming into 4-5, had about 20 minutes of rain, stopped now. Large gusts of wind every now and then.

Later on I think I'll grab my Wii U, play some Lego City and watch the storm out from my window.

Southampton btw

It's been windy as all heck all day down here in Southampton. It can't stop me from playing me some Pokemon though.

The wind has been picking up for a couple of hours now. Overcast and dark too. Hmm, let's see what happens.

Elmbridge btw.

Presumably they've called the Hurricane Jude because like Paul McCartney at every public event signing Hey Jude it'll go on for ages and make you feel a bit miserable.
